I thought X-Bar is only good at EurUsd, Wow.. U test so many pair with real account.
Some different happened on Alpari and IBFX. My IBFX demo result : 19 Apr : 1 trade lose 70 pips , open time : 14:05 21 Apr : 3 trade win total 30 pips , open times : 2.25 , 13.25, 17.00. 22 Apr : 2 trade win 20 pips. While your Alpari real result : 19 - 26 Apr : 9 trade win total 81 pips. I see your Xbar to open limit order, and got more trade. What version of Xbar using ? Or you got modify a bit by yourself ? Yes, it works fine on EUR/USD so I let it trade on EUR/USD only. Maybe you've seen someone else's stats. I guess funyoo has optimized this EA on Alpari UK. So running it on Alpari UK may be a good idea. I had been using the very first version of the XBars until recently, and replaced it with v1.03 on April 23. The set file is xbars ma scalper v1.03 eu m5.set. Haven't done any modification to the EA or the set file except that Risk=20, which doesn't change any nature of the EA. It's been working great so far, but I think I'm just lucky. There probably would be a period where you are profitable and I'm not. It's just too early to evaluate which is better. I'm sure I'll lose, and it may be deep occasionally. It's just a nature of trading. |

Also, generally, the tighter the spread the better fill you get. So I believe it works on ECN. But please trade with your own responsibility. Good luck! |

I have conducted strategy testing for both v1 and v1.03. The v1.03 just has lots of parameters, but if you don't adjust those settings, the results are the same. So if any of you are running the first version, you can just keep it running without replacing it.
