The green bar is just the bar for the number of Pips i guess.
When u trade for example with 1 Lot and make 50 Pips or u trade with 0,1 Lot (for example to reduce the risk when u are in a DD.) u can loose -500 Pips without any influence for the Balance
I guess that´s why!?

Hi,
maybe because the Pips were made with smaller Lot-Size !?
I am not sure if i understand exactly what you mean :)
