Trades are not managed by a hard stop loss. This EA has performed well in the past and it may yet come through without a significant drawdown. Time will tell. Either way it will exit all trades to protect 130% of the initial equity if it needed to today. That % is time and profit dependent which changes as the balance increases. If the balance returns to $3900 then so be it. It will then start over from a fresh base. The monthly return of 77.58% at the time of writing is, quite frankly, unsustainable. It's ridiculous and has not been achieved with this EA before. Anything above 10% is a hug...

Ahh, a good idea. So at least we agree on something. 😱As I'm writing this I might as well comment further on just one of your general misconceptions, rather than the personal assumption aimed at myself which you mentioned above that "... you are soliciting for clients or you wouldn't be on this forum. Certainly nothing wrong with this of course." Well, yes, actually there is, unless "... you comply with all applicable laws, any applicable foreign or domestic regulatory body, national or other securities exchanges ..." which is taken from the third from the b...

Sir, you're entitled to your opinion. And I do not have the inclination to comment further other than to say you are incorrect on most points.

In another place my signature has "No Vouches Please" because I was strongly opposed to its introduction there in the original form they suggested some years ago. IMO it adds little value there because the majority of the members are the blind being led by the slightly less blind. However, I'll suck it and see here but the danger is, as Ben suggests, that it may create an "in group" who haven't got a clue but pretend they have. There is an obvious element of that elsewhere. In the meantime I've already got a vouch so I guess thanks are due to MFB. Thank you. And ...

I see that you've deleted this one now Jeremia. I'm aware that you're in Bali further to our chat elsewhere yesterday but 2pipsfunds clearly trades in the UK. There are certain regulatory issues which need to be addressed as you have a London base.I appreciate the site's quite new but with your FPA experience and that of your team it would appear that publication of your site is somewhat premature before these issues, which you or your team would be aware of, are addressed.I see at your site that you have a team of certified Money Managers. Would you care to elaborate on what t...

I understand the analogy but it doesn't assist. The fact is I have very little respect for financial regulators anywhere and, as an example, the UK FSA is not even fit for purpose. I doubt if it ever has been. I have commented on this at length elsewhere. However, your choice is simple. You either respect the laws of the country or countries that you choose to do business in or you don't. If you fall in to the second category you may or may not be prosecuted under criminal law. But if you are choosing to ignore the laws of any country where you attempt to do business by advertising here ...

Even if you are regulated in the US it is still illegal to solicit investors anywhere in the EU.

Set up a demo platform, attach an ea (can't suggest one), get used to the platform. When you're happy using the platform come back and ask again. A managed account that would accept your deposit - if you can find one - would not be a suitable place to "invest " your money IMO.

I just commented on your other 2pips page. I see you are probably in Indonesia too. I had a great couple of months there at the Shangri La in Jakarta at the end of last year. Bats Bar is great. Anyway, good luck with your new business and have a great weekend.

I see at your site that you have a team of certified Money Managers. Would you care to elaborate on what that means exactly? It suggests to me that the members of your team have some form of formal qualification other than the substantial industry experience you refer to.Where in London are you based? I know London very well. I worked there for some time and lived just off Southampton Row WC1. Congratulations on your performance.

Malta is my base DD and I use an ITC which gives me an effective tax rate of 5% on the company side and helps on a personal level if I don't stay in Malta more than 6 months each year.Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores is at http://cnmv.es and is the relevant regulator. We are closed to new clients except by recommendation from an existing client. And have been since 2006. That is when we stopped updating performance there.I'm glad you like the lion - I always feel it's a bit outdated these days.

When it comes to their front-line customer care I always get the feeling that it's the blind being led by the slightly less blind. But I still have an account with them and that speaks volumes. BTW, I'm the latter category.

It's not just about performance. You need to create a solid foundation for your business.Create a business plan.Trade your investment strategy on MFB for at least one year whilst sorting the other bits.Set your budget and timeline of completion - I'd favour two years but for me it was eight. I was in my comfort zone.Define your fee structure.Instruct your legal team to create managed account documents and the necessary registrations.Choose a prime broker.Build an early relationship with an auditor who will provide year-end tax work for your business, investor's report and a full au...

Guys, in most countries it is illegal and a criminal offense to advertise for retail forex clients unless you have a license from the relevant country's regulator. This usually means where you are based but there are exceptions. If you're based in France, for example, you need to contact the Direction des Agréments, des Autorisations et de la Réglementation to establish an exemption unless you are already registered with http://www.banque-france.frIn Malaysia you need to be a Licence Holder as provided under section 77 of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 at http:/...
