I've been 'training' with an OANDA demo account for 6 months and hope to move to a real account when/if I feel comfortable. Not so much interested in this thread in debating which broker to use, but would like to know what differences I can expect to see in trade execution between the demo account and a real account, from those who have made that transition with OANDA. Thanks!

I used to be with Oanda as they have an excellent reputation for financial security. The problem is with their Liquidity during high volume spikes. Their spreads can become gargantuan and blow your stop so be careful. If you are swing trading longer time frames it may not be an issue but I had my stop blown way too many times to only have the trade work out. FYI
