Hello I have a development project where I would like to use the MyFXBook API to autogenerat the individual trades and statistics it generates (for both open and closed trades) into a user interface (maybe excel, or a win32 desktop program) that allows me to create a trade journal of all my trades auomatically into a database or table and allow me to add more information for each trade such as a post-mortem trade analysis comments and a trade entry and trade exit screengrabs. I then need to be able to browse through this information in a usable/visual format so I can study/review my trades to learn from them. Kind of like a digital, visual diary of my trades where i can see the results and my own personal comments for each trade, but i don;t have to hand enter all the general trade terms, as they are autopopulated from the MyFXBook API to save time and effort. I only edit my own comments and the screengrabs of the trade entry and exit to the existing data. If you think you have the skills and are intersted in this project, please send me a message and we can discuss the technical requirements and price to complete it a bit more.

Cheers
Shayne

Shayne, everything you've described is already possible with MyFxBook and it's even better since it is all saved server side, so why would you want to re-invent the wheel? Just curious.

really, I guess I need to investigate more. I didn;t see a way to insert two snapshots, the strategy used and comments in details. Will try to figure it out. Thanks for letting me know.

Ok,, now I figured out how to enter comments and pictures. MyFXBook does exactly what I was looking for so this project is no longer required. Thanks James Bond for clarifying things and apologies for having to cancel the project to others. This site really is good. :) Great work to the creators of MyFXBook.com
