Lua programming vs MQL 4

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get into some first development for developing for indicators/Strategies/Expert Advisors.

But which programming language is better in terms of :

-Ease of understanding

-Complexity

-Learning curve

-Functionality etc...

Any help will be appreciated
Forex is about the journey not the destination...

Why Lua? Which chart platform would a developed application based on Lua run on? I know mql runs metatrader platform, easyLanguage runs on TradeStation platform, but I don't know about Lua's platform. In my opinion MQL is easy enough to learn.

Lua runs on TradeStation as well.
Forex is about the journey not the destination...
