Hi Dave - I am not sure there are any so called pure DAT6 or DAT8 - seems that Joseph loads them individually the way he feels at the time. I had a sudden drop this week on the one called DAT6 - seems like there is some problem but I can't find any body to look at it. I started these 2 accounts in August and I am maybe BE with both accounts combined if you take the cost of the license into account. If you haven't bought a license yet - I think I would wait.... Craig Harris is running DAT9 and he is doing no better....
Anyway those are my thoughts - I would be interested in your thoughts as well - keep me posted on your progress.

I have already bought a license when i signed up to mb trading (dat 5 then)....since moving over to fxcm i was automatically put into dat 9 even though i asked for the 5 to be reinstalled and it has not worked out at all well. I have had to put more money into the account as the support said " give the dat room to work out of the draw-down" and now that money has almost gone. If you have concerns send an e-mail to [email protected] i have and now my account is being monitored. As i understand it Joesph himself is not placing manual trades on in order to get the account back to a global close but i am afraid i am not too hopeful.
Craig has said tht if i get margin called the Joseph is paying out 200% of original margin in stocks but this has yet to be confirmed so i do not know if i should be putting more funds in or not...i am inclined not too as i am convinced that the dat 9 just is not working. Craig has also put more funds into his account and still hie draw-down grows deeper.
I was confident today that i may get the global but then it closed everything leaving me net short when the markets were going up so ran out of margin once again...i now have less the $1000 in my account so i am expecting to get margin called next week. (very negative i know) fingers crossed it wont. Should i do so and replenish my account i am looking to get back into the 5 as that was working very well before the change but i was not too sure how the 8 was doing.
Sorry all very negative. i am hopeful i have this wrong and that a global close is just around the corner. Great to talk to others not something i think is actively encouraged by GPT
Let me know who it goes. if there is anything i can do to help please just ask
