In equity terms what exactly does risk 30 mean?

11:15, restate my assumptions: 1. Mathematics is the language of nature. 2. Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers. 3. If you graph these numbers, patterns emerge. Therefore: There are patterns everywhere in nature.

30% of the free margin available for each trade. For example, on 10.000$, 3.00 lots will be opened.

So, on a full stop loss you're going to lose 30% of your capital?

Actually, I see no great future for all these, to the Asian session limited, scalpers.

Since hundred of thousands wannabe 'traders' jump with their purchased EAs on the 'lets the shit scalp out of the Asians' bandwagon, we see more often (false) breakouts and higher volatility as usual. Brokers and other big dogs ain't goofies.

That's the reason why all the sellers of these EAs have to adjust and update their products almost on a weekly basis. Its a rat race against the time lol

The solid scalper systems work on all sessions under all circumstances. They do exist, they just don't get published. They are expensive...

I agree however most of these EAs run on bucketshops so it's a question whether the bucketshops send the orders to the market ...
If they do then it depends probably it has to build to a couple billions a day/week for the big boys to get interested ...

and that connected with lower liquidity during Asian session might mean spikes that will take all those EAs out ...

on the other hand you think there are hundreds of the EAs being sold by the EA makers ?

Hundreds? LOL Think about the fapturbo hype... more than 50.000 times sold

All these commercial EAs get cracked and sold on eBay for low money.. that's why I'm sure an enormous amount of traders are riding the Asian session scalper wave
