hello Devis,

I saw your history and I have the same experience with you, but you still trust FGT, GBPUSD have a average 3000 plus or minus every month, if its goes over 4000 pip, the account might be in trouble...

Hi,

Nice, I hope that work out for you, cos I hate to see the drop in May. Anyway, how do you set the equity stop at 35%?

This is a grid/martinlegale. Cent, micro, whole lot account, doesn't matter. You MUST take your profits out weekly. It is a fools game to let your profits ride.

I've traded FGT on a demo account for the last 4 months and did over 150%. I am trading it live now and doing quite well. I did not experience the losses that you have and I think the reason may be that I have my 'max. open orders' set to 8. I believe the default is 11 or 15, I can't remember. You usually won't have enough margin in your account to support that many orders. By restricting the maximum number of orders, you are letting the system work, to a point, but if it max's out on the open trades, you will still have enough margin left to allow the system to still be in the game waiting for the reversal you need to make yourself whole again.

Now if I have too many open positions closed manually to the minimum retracement. even with little gain or little loss..

For stephen , i set safe equity stop out in fgt ea proprieties . And I have set 35% after my big loss I may !! :))

Bye bye

Devis,

Is 35% safe equity is set 0.35 in safe equity? I am try to combine max open trade at 8 with 35% risk equity to see how is it.

I put 35 in the settings and not 0.35 ..
regarding open orders, i Think its a good idea to limit to 8 but it is not likely to have open orders for too long time , because take profit remaining distance?
Thank you

Devis,

As right now, I dont have enougt fund to run FGT, I run forex envy instead, long HV but no jpy pairs. reagarding how long to have the order open, I am not sure on that, because they are looking about 500 pip profit in order to stop all order (either sell or buy). or may be Ken from upstairs know more FGT than I do, and he is the one that start 8 open trades.
