I suppose a reasonable next step would be to make it trade a broader portfolio of other currencies. I haven't looked at that yet, but looking at EUR crosses is probably the next step to finding more trades. The concern is that spread costs become a much larger factor once a trader moves beyond the majors.

The spread should not matter if you are going for bigger targets on QB Pro. Will you make QB Pro available to US clients on Mirror Trader? Will you be selling the QB Pro or just making it like a monthly signal provider service?
Thank you.

Does QB Pro calculate and classify the closings by bins as QB does?
Thanks.

Hi Eric,

QB Pro uses the SB score from the QuantBar strategy but not the bins. I have no intention to sell the product, either as a mirror trader or as signals.

The site offers the QuantBar indicator and later on the QuantBar EA. QBPro, the EA which trades this account, is not for sale.

Very impressive track record. How far back did you backtest this? Do spreads matter as you are going for bigger targets compared to QB. How long did it take to develop this great strategy?
Thanks.

What is the difference between high risk and the regular QB Pro? I see one has a better track record than the other.

I backtested it from 2008-2013, which is 6 years. Yes, spreads matter on any strategy. I'm trying to make money with money. The less I spend, the more I keep. That's why I trade with https://pepperstone.com/?a_aid=dominari.

It took me about 3 months of flirting with the basic idea of the SB score, and a further 3 months full time over this summer to get it into production quality.

The two accounts are identical. The only difference is the leverage used and that I let the high risk account compound its returns throughout the month. The normal account uses a fixed lot size.

Awesome. How long does it take to program something like this in MT4? Complicated? So you trade one lot in the normal account and increase lot size in high risk account? Both use 1:400 leverage? How do you increase lot size in high risk account?

What do you mean by later on? If I buy the indicator will it give me the EA also?

Not very long. The strategy rules are fairly simple, but it took years of experience to know how to find them.

So you trade one lot in the normal account and increase lot size in high risk account?
Correct

Both use 1:400 leverage?

Yep

Both use 1:400 leverage? How do you increase lot size in high risk account?

By maintaining a fixed relationship between the current account equity and the leveraged dollar value of open positions.

You're only able to purchase the QuantBar EA if you buy the QuantBar indicator. Please note that QuantBar is not the EA I'm using to trade this account; it's QB Pro.

Does QB Pro hold overnight and over the weekends? What is the logic behind QB Pro?

Yes, it holds trades over the weekends. The strategy is proprietary.

Why there is different trade for high risk and normal risk?
one EUR/USD is making profit on high risk
another is making loss on normal risk
