I'm very interested in this Mouse Trap EA. I like the idea of reversing a scalping EA. There's so many out there that gets killed in the long run due to the horrible risk:reward ratio. I always said if one could reverse the trading strategy so that the risk:reward was favorable, yes there would be a lot more losers, but the few winners would be big enough to make you profit in the long run.
Can you tell me how I can find this EA? or is this your own? I would love to demo and try it myself. Regards, Ryan |

Hi Ryan, after some more testing, including a period where the markets are not favourable to it, I may well make the EA commercially available, but it is too soon yet to say if this is just a lucky start. I have 4 or 5 people who have expressed an interest and I will post something on the blog once I have decided what to do. Thanks for the interest. Chris

I noticed that your acct hasn't traded for a while. Have you stopped the EA or is it that it just hasn't taken any trades for a while?

Hi Ryan, MouseTrap is still running and trading! It looks for areas of consolidation of a certain type and so there can be longish gaps between trading spurts. Not very exciting but systems that aim to get long term profitability never are!
