looks like another grid system (no complaints intended, I'm a gridder too <img src='' alt='wink'/>).

Sleep is for the weak.

you appear to have changed the takeprofit down to only 20 pips are you running default settings supplied by Funyoo or are you using your own settings here.
If you are using your own custom settings could you share them.

Those that say it can not be done should leave those that are doing it alone.

All,

In an effort to cut down on the questions and e-mails asking for the same information.

I'm using the original....first version downloaded on the very first posting @ http://www.tradingsystemforex.com/expert-advisors-backtesting/1086-vforce-like-ea.html

I'm using default settings but with 2 small twists.

First, I've loaded this on the EURUSD 1 MINUTE chart instead of the 1 hour with all default settings. This will cause the EA to buy and has been the focus of my preliminary test. I've started using this on a live account last Monday and will get this posted shortly. The results so far are exactly the same; I started the account with $2k but traded with the same settings as the $1k test. This allowed an extra $1k as a safety margin in case the EA didn't perform as it did in testing. Bottom line; last week it pulled in over $650 from Monday night when I turned it on to the Friday close.

My next experiment that also seems to be working in demo is to open another EURUSD chart also on the 1 minute and change 'ReverseSystem' from false to true. This will cause the EA to Sell and will allow one to realize more profit on both sides of the daily EURUSD movements. This version of the EA doesn't seem to work in one instance to both buy and sell. It appears that all other 'enhancements' don't appear to perform as indicated in the forum discussion. I'm currently testing this second instance for another week and then will turn this on my live account.

Unfortunately, this EA won't work with most US brokers because I believe the NFA in it's infinite wisdom took some of our trading tools away in the form of not allowing hedging as well as FIFO restrictions (wasn't that nice of them?!). Hence you will have to open your account with an overseas broker.

Thus far testing and real provide the same results.

I would kindly ask that if this information helps you, then in your searching and testing of other EA's that you please remember that I didn't' play 'I've got a secret' in other words, I've shared where and how I achieved these results. As such I would appreciate the posting of the name of your EA's, the settings, and general instructions on how you achieved these results when you come across the occasion gold nugget.

There are so many folks trying to sell all of us Forex traders snake oil that all too often do not deliver anywhere close to the results they proclaim on their websites.

So lets help each other for the mutual good of all and share our gold nuggets.

Enjoy!

Terry

Just a note for all traders reading this thread - be very careful when trading this EA. I would suggest to pergaps even trade it on demo for at least a period of 6 months or more. Becuase of the no SL used, the drawdowns can be huge and you may easilt get a margin call from broker. I am demo trading it with a $1000 balance and although the balance has increased, the equity is below $1000 and incase of a news event today, might get a margin call from broker. be very cautious when tarding this EA
