On the far right where the competitors are you have under "trading" column, MANUAL. How did you get that in there? I cant figure it out.

Hardly. I could not recommend the pivots to INITIATE a decision to open a trade. I give PHI the lion's share of my primary decision making. Just knowledge of PHI is not adequate or a guarantee of a profit for several reasons. First I could be just wrong in a particular trade I wish to open. Meaning the price to BUY or SELL could just be wrong. This has to be factored in. But then what time frame am I using and then what high or lows from that same chart am I using. Then I need to cross reference this technique. Based on your experience do you think you could reel in $30,000.00 in a year off of the pivot points? The occasional day to day profit does no matter. The market is way to savvy to fall into your loving arms. In spite of all this I think it will help to use a portion of your margin to trade and the other portion for trading errors in connection with pivot points with what ever other technique you are using. This is what I would do in the real world. In the contest you can be far more reckless because this is not real money. If it were it would be a different story on the psychological level. The mind is what matters. What I like about pivot points is that it can give you resistance points on the DAY chart which could be helpful. But let’s say one day or for two days you have a consolidation. If there was a powerful breakout after the consolidation the DAY pivot points could not be used. Then you would have to rely on the WEEK/Month numbers. You would have to know or have experience in the market to deal with issues like that. Pehaps as my trade skills continue to evolve maybe I could find pivots to be more useful & accurate which is to say that sometimes the problem is the trader and maybe not the technique.
