FXdome, in theory it works when you put Kenny's EA on a second start (Kenny's EA is very good), but of course you create a conflict with FGB. If the trade is closed by Kenny's EA, FGB doesn't see this. FGB is still thinking, that the trade is going on. The consequence is that you have to restart the FGB after each hit of Kenny's EA. You can do this if you are allways in front of your screen, but you cannot leave FGB alone any longer. So be cautious, if you want to test FGB and trailing stop EA on real account.
as forcasted.... account deleted

The result for a real account looks quite impressive, but let's take a closer look on the performance of the FGT-EA: the deposit is: 152577 $ the EA started at 05/24/2010 the earning up to now is: 30981 $ The Gold price on 05/24/2010 was 1182 and today 1495 that means a difference of 3130 pips ! 1 pip = 10 $ for one lot that means with only 1 Lot bought at 05/24/2010 I would be up 31300 $ today without any EA. And with an account of more than 150 K$ I could trade more than 1 Lot without any risk. Please correct me, if I'm wrong.

I also traded FGT for a certain time, then I stopped it (I was at least in profit) :-) Why ? Because the EA is based on increasing prices for gold and silver. If a drop of more than 100 points happens i.e. for gold (and this happend in the past) you can calculate what will happen with your account. It is a type of grid system, and I never saw a grid system that survived on a long-term view, at least if you don't have a huge account and play with very small lot size. FGT wins since month because of the bull market for gold, but FGT is at least my preferred trading style. I hate big DD.

Perhaps there are bugs in the EA but believe it or not ...... FGB can be really profitabel.... especially if you know how to tweak it right. Attached three different settings, all profitable .... and there are much more settings, which can be run profitable
That's what he need, with such a martingale system and the small deposit :-)

Trading 2 Lots/trade with 250 $ deposit in the asian session, that means 13 pips would blow up your account. Nice to see, but no longterm perspective, but good luck for your account

It looks like a grid system with 25 pips TP and >= 100 pip sl. Either it works with a hidden SL or without SL, it cannot be deducted by the history. Like every grid system it is able to run very profitable for a while, but on a long term basis...... nobody nows ...... one very strong movement in the wrong direction will blow up the account. If I'm wrong, I would be happy if you could explain me the basic idea behind your EA
sliffy posted: Haitrader, you should have closed trades manually i suggest to close trades and restart terminal as it's always needed after closing trades manually
I'm aware of this problem with FGB and I can absolutely garuantee that I have never closed trades manually. Especially because FGB run on a VPS and I have rebooted the system last weekend. So also FGB was restarted. Up to this week FGB traded on my Alpari account very similiar to thinkforex.... but now it seems that there are big differences. Some ideas would be very welcome.
