Info from forum (donnaforex): 1, No confidence so no live account 2, Backtest is just an image with a link to their homepage, nothing serious. It's pretty clear that the EA can't be backtested (all orders on multiple currencies are closed exactly at the same time, there is no coincidence) and still they show a picture representing a backtest. Weird. 1. That picture is not a real backtest. 2. It only represents only one currency backtest.
Silverthorn posted: Bottom line: Backtesting is just for developers, and to fine-tune settings, never for making decisions on the profitability of a robot!
For a good setting 99.90% backtest (not 90%) you know will assess whether will EA profitable or not.
pipable posted:
Jarora posted: You do backtest from 2008 to 2014?
Like we have explained before. the EA has news detection capability so it is not really backtestable. Yet we backtest and release the results every week. David
Is it a EA or EA which receives the entry points from your server?
ellvin posted: Menkent from Pipable is the best forex EA!
Yes it was also sphantom and fx papa.
You do backtest from 2008 to 2014?
corre71 posted: The thing that make me wonder (apart the fact the vendor is the same of S-Pahantom or not) is how is possible that people decide to subscribe to a strategy which has an hystory of 6 weeks and only 26 trades? this is a suicide! wait for at least 6 months (better 1 year) and 200 trades! also ask urself who is the vendor? what he developed in the past? (he cannot come from nowhere and pretend to be reliable)! anyway anyone is responsible for his money!
Correctly. I would wait at least 1 year.
pipable posted: Hi Jarora, thanks for your comment. I would like to know how this strategy is an account killer? A killer EA is one which the risk is 100% for users. We have been setting the risk for all users maximum at 50% and users can attest this.
50% is not low risk or 50 pips is OK! Therefore is this grid highly risky!
corre71 posted: Yes, absolutely the same of S-Phantom! They was supposed to release us an updated version with at least news filter, time filter and customizable s/l and t/p (and to do this a good programmer needed not more than 1 day), but they of course decided to launch a new website and a new service to earn other money! i hope people will be not so stupid! I hope S-pahantom will need all the money earned to buy medicines![mad]
Yes, history repeats itself. Hard to say whether regards the same vendor (all you can hide) but the strategy is the same (Killer accounts!).
