I'm using MDP as well, but I've been reading a lot of bad things about it. Could you please share what settings you are using. I've been testing it on 2 different accounts, and got completely different results. So far, I don't think it's a bad EA, it just has to be set properly and you have to use it on a VPS (preferably) and it has to have very little latency with the broker's server.

It is very dangerous, don't start with too much money, then withdraw your starting capital as soon as possible. A few bad days in a row could kill every MDP acc......

Yeah, I used to do the same: tried to simply pretend the money was gone, but as it turns out, it doesn't come easy to me at all. I was also profitable, but given my 4 digit deposit sizes, it was not some phenomenal gains. There were also drawdowns and I was continuously stressing about the trades, so I'm better off without it.
Re: bridges, look into gold-i - it's a stable & straightforward bridge, probably very well suited if you want to trade yourself. If you want a more sophisticated thing, take a look at primexm. The Currenex one is also nice if you can s......

SmoothHedge, thanks for the offer, but I'm afraid I'll have to decline. First of all, I stopped trading for a profit a rather long time ago when I noticed the stress incurred from trading heavily outweighs the financial benefits, at least given the amounts that I had in my account balances. The only money I have in Forex nowadays are exclusively in forward test accounts and some 1k at Oanda that I keep there just so that I can download tick data. Second, why would you choose the Boston Tech bridge? It's probably the worst bridge (at least it used to be some 2 yea......

Haha, It's a shame that MM broker of yours will never let you get that far. :-) Care to go halves in the Boston Technology bridge?

It's actually a simple copy of Forex Combo System (strategies 1 and 2)

So Borys must have a time machine, because TFOT was released before Combo System. Look at the start dates of the forward tests.

My first forex robot came from Borys some years ago. I believe it was about $1500. It was worth the price. His more recent robots are also worth the price. The Clickbank EAs copy his ideas and then stick a bunch of licensing and permanent connections to their servers. You don't want those Clickbank EAs on one your account if you're trading money you can't afford to lose.

Brit, I bet in the back of your mind you're thinking that this robot could actually make you millions. :-)
All it has to do is stay on its current course, right?

Does anyone know of (or have experience with) whether or not MDP works with FXOpen's ECN account. As far as i am aware, there should be nothing hindering it from doing so. It meets the low spread and fast execution requirements. Plus there are no restrictions form placing pending orders close to the bid/ask price.
I have read in a couple places where people had some trouble with the stop orders getting rejected but they didn't say if the account was ECN or not. I know this EA would not work on their non ECN accounts because of the order closing in less than one ......

Oh yes, Global Clearing Group once again. This is obviously an arbitrage system. It works well on Global Clearing Group because they have a heavily filtered slow feed. But once you start making profit they manipulate the chart, execution time, etc.
If someone really had an effective arbitrage system, why on earth would they sell it for less than a billion dollars?
