this bot definitely needs a news filter to close any open trades in case there is an important high impact news which is likely to change the nature of the market dramatically for the currency pair it’s trading on.Otherwise you have to monitor it all the time and decide either to close the trades or not. On the other had if it is not trading at this moment i think it handles well the news as it waits a little before it gets in the market and decide the trend.Remember this is your hard earned money...not count on luck for gains as this is more like gambling..there are......

Is this the same ea you trade at zulutrade under the name FXCOMBO ? I see some differences in the accounts... Do you close some positions manualy? The buy position at 1.39221 has already closed with a +52 pips profit at zulu account.. whereas still open at fxbook..

Yes thats right yoyofx! It was so unlucky with this trade today just closed it little before the trend reverses..... lets see if it is going to place other trades...

it should have enter the market earlier today as price broke through resistance level.. and the indicator showed a buy signal......lets see what will happen with this trade.. no gain to lock with a trail...

I think if you make any modification to its settings such as alter the lot size it is considered a restart and it will lose connection of the open trades. Had same problem. Now i think the fix it with the new ver. but i am not risk it. Just put it in a new chart and if you are going to alter anything reloded to a m15 chart.

I had the same problem when i manualy closed a buy position it opened another in the opposite direction... Any suggestions Livenfx on how to use compuforex trail? Do you use it with default settings?

hi
I am thinking that maybe is not good to use trailling in FGB trades. This is definitely going to alter its long term performance and backtest results. You may lock 20-30 pips and the trades hit the trail sl and wont go negative but you may lose 300... The bot is not a scalper anyway...this may work only if its trades profit always at the begining...
tell me what you think....

anyone made the small update of FGB from members area? If i replace the ex4. and dll. file only should be ok? Or needs to be re authorized?

I get the same orders as you at my IBFX AU account but the orders close earlier resulting in less pips winning.. What broker do you use? Is this issue has to do with my broker or you use the power version with wave trailling..
