Dear Forexir and all users,
I can assure you that this is simply a false alarm caused by a heuristic which was triggered by the enigma protector used to secure my intellectual property. The respective antivirus company is contacted and will resolve the false alarm soon. Please feel free to contact me and also take a comparative look at virustotal.com which should convince you that this heuristic alarm is simply false.

Hi,
for all who love the free Super Trend Indicator from Robinson ( http://codebase.mql4.com/4725 ) a systematic large-scale analysis of Super-Trend parameter influence and recommendations for the best parameters for all major FOREX pairs is given here:
http://tradingresearch.wordpress.com/2011/08/15/evaluation-of-super-trend-indicator's-parameters-for-all-major-forex-pairs-over-12-years/
( as tiny url: http://wp.me/p1M1iZ-6 )
The analysis is based on >12 years back testing for each currency pair.
Hope this helps in selecting your best parameters :-)

Hi,
I'll publish a detailed description and recommendations at the web site soon, in brief so far:
The indicator's model estimates quite successfully short as well as long term trends. If you have followed the correctly predicted long term trend in the example USD/CHF, most of the trend signals haven given you very good results (you can verify it easily by having a look at the sell-open and sell-close signals). If strong and reliable signals can be detected they are plotted red or blue. If market disturbances are detected that exists over a long time or if a side movement exists the signals ......

Hi A7_MaD,
thank you for your feedback.
A "model quality of 0.0%" simply indicates that *no* modeling and optimization was performed.
MetaTrader allows to optimize your input parameters during a backtest and terms this brute-force search for best parameters "modeling". However, the problem is the following: If your EA is highly depending on input parameters it is very likely that it is well fitted for the past, but will likely fail in the future if trends/markets change. Therefore, my goal was to build an EA which is as parameter-invariant as possible. In addition, I did......
