Unfortunately not. 50K at 0.05 is still 1% risk.
The RISK setting even on lowest at 1% forces the lot size to suit your equity.
What I want is to go lower than 1% risk, which I cannot do at the moment If I pay $100 big ones a month, I want to be able to set 0.5% risk, 0.1% even. If I want to start at 0.01 lots for $100K I believe I should be able too.
Obviously this makes sense only with large accounts.

so for now, @ RL1/pair, current EA will only initiate @ 0.01 if a/c size <20k,
which means that 10x10k account will need 10 different pairs @ RL 1; ......

Thank you Dustin for your clarification and honesty.
Just a thing to note. Most mini accounts do allow micro lots after the minimum 0.1 is traded. 0.11, 1.13, etc. is not a problem.
Are you able to add a feature where i can enter my own (even safer) starting lot ?
I would like to trade $100K, but RISK=1 starting on lot 0.1 even with one pair is still too risky for me. I want to survive a 2000+ pip one-way movement. I have no problem with 25% return per year.
Could you make it so I can start with 0.05 for example ? Or better, allow me to enter in my own start lo......

Glad we have this live system's records on myfxbook...
so the actual proof speaks for itself, and more would survive and progress towards the path of doing what we love, step by step....
the main issue for the start is to get the systems set-up like TEA's live account.
Once that's all figured out, we pretty much need to just let TEA do the thing it does best, and check back this place often enough.
There on, we would spend less on crappy stuff that fakes others out and still able to be a decent person on mother earth :)

OK, I can see some selling taking place on short term charts, lets hope for some follow through :-)
No short signals anywhere though :-(
If anyone is interested....measures I have taken:
I have deactivated anything which is at or above 0.9 on all accounts.
I have reduced where necessary all RL to 1 (bear in mind it does not affect current trade-sets).
I have reduced/managed/switched off any other EA I have running on the accounts.
I DO NOT have the 40% DD feature activated.
Oddly enough, in analysing the accounts, I have found that, out of 5, only 2 have a......

I have run MT4 tester on TEA. risk level 1 results in about 7% on balance from closed trades and rl 2, 14% and rl 3, 21%. those are not same as short term paper drawdown from open positions.

Glad to see this :)
I suppose those % are the dd for RL employed for each pair?
how long a time-frame is it ran to? is the length of test to max absolute dd seen?
I'm not a systems guy... just curious :)
Good to know how much leeway we could go based on TEA's max recommended RL of 8 :)

hmmm, if we don't let it played out as it is; i.e. it would be reacting outside the recommended best practices.
Yeah...worst case, Tom's account bites the dust like the rest of us.
If we aren't comfortable with E/U with regards to its volatility since the broadcast of this EA, then just got to get used to it or we'll be acting more & sweat more...
maybe having that dd-limiter is working against oneself...psychologically...too.
I'm thinking it's best to reduce risk to a restful-sleep level would be the best solution.
Maybe because I've not gone live yet so I don't feel as much heat.........

Hi, tradingshed
my post is referring to one of previous post here regarding only fxcm, fxdd, and wpfx accepting tom ea now.

To clarify, that's the only 3 brokers that tradency's willing to link-up to Tom's EA. That's should be confirmation- no reply from tradency since 2 days ago when I emailed them to see if it's a misunderstanding as Tom's EA is now refered to an profit agent under tradency (demo a/c @ wpfx).
Those using vps with any broker they selected for this EA; i.e non-tradency, i believe the concern lies more with the vps, not the broker.

Maybe I misunderstood your post ravenlok. Are you saying that Tom's EA is still working with Tradency, as long as your broker is FXCM, FXDD, or WPFX?
I am using FXDD. Thanks.

yes. for those yet to get a tradency account & would like to use it for Tom's EA; tradency shall only link your MT4 from any of the above 3 brokers.

Just been informed that TRADENCY would NOT be doing a link-up to Tom's EA (= profit agent) with other brokers ANYMORE.
FXCM, FXDD & WPFX link-up still ok.
.................................................................
cc-ed to TRADENCY of the link-up... then tradency informed my broker's rep. to get me to get vendor to liaise on the link-up.
Then vendor replied back that the deal is over. I wonder why...........
7th Nov 2010 till now, zero trading activity on Tom's EA as I took too much time to get the right broker after opening quite a few accounts with different brokers and fund......
