Back Testing Strategies In Suggestion Box May 31 2011 at 03:05
I feel that it would be helpful to provide an example of how to fill out the "Add a Strategy" page, especially as it relates to providing backtesting data and the Strategy Report. To me, that page is not completely clear and there are no examples to follow.
Can anyone assist me in understanding how to make use of back testing here? I am familiar with the Strategy Tester in Metatrader and that is the only location I know about to gather data. I have some EAs that I would like to test across a lot of years and to receive the fxbook-styled analysis for them. Can I just export files from Strategy Tester and then import them into myfxbook? When myfxbook asks for Strategy Report, what is it referring to? I will greatly appreciate any guidance that is provided. Thanks.
