Thanks, one more Q please.- If I want to run super duper safe risk settings, say 1% does that somehow give the trades less 'breathing room' compared to say 10% risk ? Or is the risk setting merely decide what starting lot size it begins with ?

FxPapa, I notice the instructions are to place the EA on a single H1 EURUSD chart.I also just noticed it took a GBPUSD trade, so it is in fact a trade copier. Correct ?Can you tell us what pairs it trades ? Any more than just EURUSD and GBPUSD ?

FxPapa, can you explain the lot sizes that get opened in regards to the Risk % setting and equity ?eg. I have $10K. Risk is set to 1%.Is the first lot 0.1 ? Because you only have 3 positions at a time is the start lot less ?And when all 3 positions move against you and you are negative $100 (1% Risk) do all positions close ?

Hi Guys,I am still evaluating this EA, but keep in mind this is a mere 600 pip movement taking place.I urge you all to zoom out to the Daily chart on EURUSD, and see that a 600 pip movement in one direction is normal and takes place fairly often.True safety is looking back to 2008 and in between notice the 2000+ pip movement. And all the ~1000 pip movements in between - no retrace.IMHO, one pair, $10K, RISK =1 (0.01 lots) should be the minimum with another $20K ready to dump in straight away if need be. I believe forex trading should be boring, if not, then my risk is too high.

Unfortunately not. 50K at 0.05 is still 1% risk. The RISK setting even on lowest at 1% forces the lot size to suit your equity. What I want is to go lower than 1% risk, which I cannot do at the moment If I pay $100 big ones a month, I want to be able to set 0.5% risk, 0.1% even. If I want to start at 0.01 lots for $100K I believe I should be able too.Obviously this makes sense only with large accounts.

Thank you Dustin for your clarification and honesty.Just a thing to note. Most mini accounts do allow micro lots after the minimum 0.1 is traded. 0.11, 1.13, etc. is not a problem. Are you able to add a feature where i can enter my own (even safer) starting lot ?I would like to trade $100K, but RISK=1 starting on lot 0.1 even with one pair is still too risky for me. I want to survive a 2000+ pip one-way movement. I have no problem with 25% return per year.Could you make it so I can start with 0.05 for example ? Or better, allow me to enter in my own start lot ?This feature would seal the de...

GlobalProfit/Dustin,Can you please get it together with your dev/support team !I have received another support email from Ivan G, Ticket ID: TZV-796420 saying there is," Something definately not right" when the EA opens 1 lot, 100K, risk=1, mini account. He says the, " EA might be stuck or return some dummy value"There is serious conflict of information with what you say and support says. Check it yourself pleaseYou have to choose one option, and then tell your support team to communicate it properly to your customers ! :1. EA is broken with mini accounts. Your job to fix ...

Sorry tradingshed, there is a definate bug in the software when in calculates the starting lot on a mini account with $100K.I have just recieved an official email from support saying that," Technically it should start with 0.2 - 0.5 lots. 1.0 lot might be reached in a series of orders"I have run a series of tests on micro and mini broker accounts. The problem only lies with mini brokers. You can simply try it yourself. The EA's risk and lot sizing is broken in a mini account scenario. There is no escaping it now.

drsong123 - you are not reading correctly. This issue isnt about who trades what. The problem is the opening lot size on a MINI account with 100K when RISK=1...... is 1.00 standard lot. That is 10% risk when it should be 1% risk when RISK=1 setting.THIS IS A PROBLEM ONLY ON MINI ACCOUNT BROKERS, when you have $100K equity. Mini account broker (min= 0.1 lot) opens up 1 full lot as the first trade ! That is 10% RISKMicro account broker (min = 0.01 lot) opens up 0.1 as would be expected with RISK=1This EA is currently broken for those of use who trade with mini account brokers. Test it yourself...

Quick update, first trade in. V1.89 . $100K, EURUSD only, RISK=1.Mini account broker (min= 0.1 lot) opens up 1 full lot as the first trade !Micro account broker (min = 0.01 lot) opens up 0.1 as would be expected. This is very broken. I have sent details to support as well as a few mini account brokers to try.

Thanks Fughe, appreciate the quick reply. I am using v1.88. Updated to 1.89, reinstalled and restarted, awaiting first trade. Is it possible to calculate how may pips we can go in one direction before the 40% hard stop is hit ?eg. (Year 2008 GFC moved ~2400 pips without significant retrace)Is running one pair only, EURUSD with $10K on RISK=1, 0.01 start lot ($100K at 0.1 lot ) enough to survive for example ? How many pips in one direction without retrace can one currency go before margin call or 40% stopout ?Thanks in advance.

Hi all, just started my $100K 2 week trial demo on my mini account broker ( miniumum 0.1 lot size)One pair only = EURUSD, Risk = 1. "Mini Account Detected" by the EA.Tom's EA has opened its first trade at 1 full standard lot. This seems way too high. Can anyone with large $100K+ equity with mini account broker comment ?
