leverconsult posted: i guess the trades that closed yesterday and today were closed manually right?
I think not. the EA can close trades even if the basket is negative. the system try to protect the account "at any cost" which mean closing trades even if there is no danger for the account... This can results in negative days. this is bad when the basket starts to be big, and closed in lost, while the good trend starts appearing and the EA could close with big profit... (when I take a lot of risk, I expect good return) the v 1.4.3 includes a negative basket protectio......
TotalGrid Crazy In Trading Systems Sep 18 2012 at 01:49
yep, the overall management of this EA is very great. the developper answers quickly our questions and include our suggestions quickly too (I ask one and in the week was added!!!) for info, this EA use the supertrend indicator. not sure if its used to open the short or long trade cycles. so there is a try to go in the trend in the EA... but as you can see... still not perfect and the margin call still here. in my case the MC occurs 4 times faster with totalgrid than forexenvy does it... so no matter the protection in the EA, when the market moves... nothing todo! I restart my account with a ......
tneedham posted: Are they really starting over with $10.00 Wow now that's confidence.. I've seen the phrase "Correctly Ballanced" used quite a bit. I think it would work better if the bias was with the trend instead of against it. That way the blowouts would NEVER happen. Plus they could use larger lot sizes and make money even faster. It would really be great if they would work with the Total Grid people and merge the best of both programs..
and how many times I'm reading this "going with the trend". this is called a perfect EA. and this doesnt exists. and......
I dont see any failure here in the EA. its a martingale, its designed to produce a margin call sooner or later (we prefer this option :)) and you know what? we hit a MC... wow... what a suprise... exactly what the EA plan to do at any time!!! sorry, I dont cry, the EA is great, correctly balanced etc... and I continue to use it, remember the recommendations? * play with half your capital only, if you hit a MC, restart using the saving account * withdraw at a regular basis the profit thats it follows the FE (and any martingale) rules and you'll win.
Dream_ posted: dont buy this EA! it's scam! i buy this ea ~1week ago, recently i get ~-30+% from USDCAD_basket and closed manually all orders on ~0.973.(60.000cent,lot 0.02,leverage 1:1000,TradeFort Flex),now my account destroyed after i send email about refund: _http://imglink.ru/pictures/14-09-12/b5ef2eb2514ecf3fdf01e92af1f6e32d.jpg now passed ~3-4days... It's lie about refund!
its far from a SCAM. sorry to ear that you put in during the worst week ever seen for all martingale systems. you have to send more info the the team, the trade history, to proove you use the recomm......
Million Dollar Pips In Trading Systems Sep 15 2012 at 13:04
I_AM_BEST posted: We should not need of thinking of those EAs that working only in fake liquidity or can say that at 100000000 lots available for Buy or Sell on each Tick that is never possible in reality Because it shows No slippage In Demo accounts and hug +pips But i prefer only Real Live accounts Cheers John Oswald
you can find tons of real account published on this site...
we really are under a unique market scenario. the totalgrid guy publish some stats, 98.5% of the trades are closed before the level 11 (which could be like a level14 or 15 in FE) currently the TG account is at the level 13. (or a missing level 17 in FE) the max hitted during back tests was 14, so we are near the record... the market is in a very rare case, the probability of having this market is less than 0.5%!!! (or 1 time a year) here we have the problem of having more than 1 pair in the sky. martingale systems are not designed to survive this point. conclusion, for FE, get the current m......
I'm using totalgrid too, and I already got a margin call, quicker than FE. I found FE better balanced for the lot size and TP points. but the overall management of totalgrid is superior and should protect the account more than FE does. but both are martingale and can suffer MC quickly... I think the market will come back to good movement next week. the strenght cant continue like this.
unfortunatly we cant associate the big moves on the market to a FE bug... there is no pullback on a lot of pairs for many days. with or without bugs in FE, all the accounts are stressed a lot. its like the sell / buy strength has completly changed on the market, and nobody is here to try to counter the trend. we have to except a flat market tomorrow and some actions or news to raise the pull backs...
