another point for the TS idea... because the trade copier will close the trade when the source account close them, if they do the trailing stop but close at pips like today, the copier will close the trades! no matter the TS is in place or not... or you also want to disable any close signal from sPhantom.... but they say they'll manually close the trades in case of a problem in the trend. (and before the 200 pips SL...) :) not easy
dhiraj posted: Yes, the risk is very high. I like to have reward/risk ratio more than 2.
why everybody want to change a working EA? if they cant provide a higher RR, then its correct, they do back test etc... and identify that trying to get more is too risky and will not provide good results. currently I never saw an EA with a RR of which works for long periods. but if somebody has one, please give me the EA name :)
husar2003 posted: If there is human interfearing, a backtest is not possible
well they still use an EA they don't manually open the trades. they stop the EA or may close trade manually, but still an ea which can be back tested.
GPzz posted: @sPhantom : can you explain your choice to open a trade right before important news? Also the way it has been handled is different from other times, the second trade wasn't 1.5 times the first size and this made all of us get the first (slight) loss from you guys. Obviously I am not complaining about this tiny loss or asking you to unveil your winning strategy in general, but the way you traded yesterday is the reason of many concerns about your next trades. An explanation of what really happened would be very welcome. On my Hotforex account both of the trades have been cl......
Anubis posted: I had a loss, but not the sPhantom EA's fault. I was using a trailing stop EA that couldn't handle the two negative trades together. Needless to say, I have removed the stoploss EA.
always a bad idea to interfere with an EA.
I'm break even today. (well tiny profit)
UncleSteve posted: wow, not so hot today...
wait and see before complaining... and again... if you are so smart to know the trade was opened in the wrong direction... why did you need an EA? :)
borncorp posted: Does anybody know why I am missing one of the current trades? I am using IBFX on the US with risk 20. Sphantom: http://imgur.com/ihJndIk,skjGYSC#1 Mine: http://imgur.com/ihJndIk,skjGYSC
check your MT4 logs to find any error. maybe your account cant handle another trade of 4lots! what's your free margin %?
my_ea posted: o my god you are coping trades from profit empire robot , you people got the trade after when profit empire robot send us the trade .
sorry, but I don't see the same trades between the 2 EAs. on January 7 empire open 9 trades while sphantom opened only 1 and the open price is not close to any of the 9 empire trades. so why did you say its the same EA?
