I think we suffered a latency in the signal itself. we have receive the close signal command from the sPhantom server too late. like if the web site used for the connection between our VPS and their VPS was suddenly bad or unresponsive for few seconds.

I can't change it as everytime I do that and press OK, when I open that settings window again it remains the same. Contacted both sphantom services and IBFX, none of them could help. Maybe somebody have any ideas? Thanks
Hi Don. I had the same problem but even if the window was always going back to the original value, the risk percent was actually changed for real. Try to save with the value you want and do not reopen the window and check y......
ForeignDevise posted: Dont break whats not broken ... Sooo, a system with a rr of 1:25, only about 125 trades so far and a sl which blows your acc if you have the same settings as the vendor is good? Even worse you'll never see the sl getting hit because the sl is set at 140%+ drawdown! You may also notice that they blew up acc's in the past and then just stopped any service - came back with a new name and slightly modified system. Yeah im fine with that, as long as it makes money :P
again... any proof? what was these EAs/signal names? please share detailed and valid information......
Help a dumb new guy... how does one "turn off the automation"?
well... stop the EA... but you will increase the risk!!! last week sphantom close the trades in break even, which was a good decision, if you stop the EA you will not receive these safe close signals... and you can be in big trouble!!!
I agree don't break whats not broken :)
here too, exactly 10pips. which mean that the trade was closed by its local TP and not from the sPhantom close signal. does this mean that the EA on the sPhantom side close the trade later??? or we have been lucky and our trades were in better position than the sPhantom signal one.
therichonedemo1 posted: My trade closed at 7.8 pips while the official account closed at 10.1 pips. Did anyone get something similar?
whats your spread?

another point for the TS idea... because the trade copier will close the trade when the source account close them, if they do the trailing stop but close at pips like today, the copier will close the trades! no matter the TS is in place or not... or you also want to disable any close signal from sPhantom.... but they say they'll manually close the trades in case of a problem in the trend. (and before the 200 pips SL...) :) not easy
dhiraj posted: Yes, the risk is very high. I like to have reward/risk ratio more than 2.
why everybody want to change a working EA? if they cant provide a higher RR, then its correct, they do back test etc... and identify that trying to get more is too risky and will not provide good results. currently I never saw an EA with a RR of which works for long periods. but if somebody has one, please give me the EA name :)
