Hi MyFxBook,

Let me start by thanking you for providing an API.

Even though it is nice that you have made the first step I think it is not the best one. :(
Something I really don't like is security! It is really odd to see in 2012 an API that will send username/password via url parameters even though if it is HTTPS.
You probably know the benefits of the OAuth pattern, because Oanda connection works exactly this way.

When do you think you can introduce something like this in the myfxbook API?

Other question is, how I will be able to get all public data of the watched accounts?

Last question: how will I be able to download raw historical equity data to draw an equity curve in my application?

Regards,
Tamas

Tamas, you're definitely correct that the OAuth is a much more advanced and robust solution and we will definitely implement it (I do not have an ETA at this time).
I'm not sure if it will be possible to download data of other accounts or raw historical equity data, however I will forward your request to the development team.

Your feedback is much appreciated!
