coder would be able to set if his system is martigale or not, and also if it is using sl or not. coder is able to set if system is real/demo or technical/fundamental but it is not enough.

We can add it, but from our experience, most traders are not thrilled to give away their trading secrets - they share only on a 'need to know' basis, hence the minimal questionnaire.

We'll be watching on the votes with this suggestion and will proceed accordingly.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I agree with this suggestion. Martingale and not using stoploss is actually a widely used 'strategy', which determines the robustness of the system - if martingale or no (or extremely wide) stoploss is used, the system will sooner or later lose all money in a very short period of time.

On second read, it appears you want to add these as filters for the systems search?

Most of automatic systems here are based on martigale and most of them are not using any SL. In my opinion it is maybe more then 95% of systems posting results here. Martigale systems is rather easy to recognize because they have positive gain but negative total pips. If system is using SL would not be able to recognize because most of systems do not post trades and not every system is posting history data. In my opinion if authors of systems realy want to be serious, they would also be able to set if their system is using martigale and if it is using sl or not.
As I am thinking about thing more I see that it would be also important to know if system is using HEDGE or not. This is very important thing. Not every broker allows hedge positions. Some brokers have specific type of hedge - time limited.
So I would like to add this to list of characteristic features of system: MARTIGALE, SL USAGE, HEDGE
Potential customers would get as wide amount of informations as possible.

It seems to me that most put this info in the General Description if they want to share it and Marty's are spottable by the equity line. Also most people serious about managed trades will at least display the closed trades. (people dont invest blindly without some info) - So while your suggestion is a nice addition I dont know if checkboxes can cover all strategy options (or if anyone wants to fill out a detailed query just to do a search)
