It takes this website several minutes to refresh Live stats.
This need to be reduced. Mt4 refreshes its stats automatically every 260 seconds or so..
but if you click refresh it give current stats.

Please allow members to refresh their stats in Real Time, not time delayed.

Thanks

Currently as you know stats are published using the MetaTrader 4 publisher.
Since the shortest period between each of the publisher uploads is 5 minutes, this is the minimal time required to update an account, so if it were up to us we would update the data every minute (at most).

Not sure how Mt4 stats works, but there is no way to reduce the upload period to less than 5 minutes, unless you click on the 'Test' button in the publisher which will immediately send the statement, due to the reason described above.

Now regarding the real time updates - the only way this is achievable is using an ea you'll have to add to your MetaTrader 4 platform, which will send us in real time each of the trades you make. As this is actually a bit intrusive, we're not sure members would be willing to do this, so now that you've brought this issue to everybody's attention we would love to hear your thoughts about it.

Quickest update in MT4Stats is 5 minutes too but since their 5 minute timer and the MT4 timer arent synced. MT4 may have updated a couple minutes before MT4Stats requests it. They just allow you to force a refresh by user request.

I've noticed that regardless of what update interval I have set in MT4, my publisher is triggered after each trade, modification, and closure. Is there a reason why this is not updating on fxbook's servers within say 2 minutes?

Whatever you're going to be, be a good one.

Jason, we would update the data in real time if it was up to us.

Not sure how your MetaTrader 4 is triggered as you said, but the shortest interval for the update is 5 minutes, hence why our systems update your data every 5 minutes also.
