Hi bigtraderapp,
No i don´t know why your EA didn´t trade...
I don´t know much about forex and EAs. May be your broker is different, the prices move differently...
Do you have a ECN account?

No, in october i had the older version of keltner with default settings.

We have seen in the discussion of Jareds chart, that there are always differences between the charts of the users. Even if they have the same settings. Well we discussed there too, i forgot to answer your last off-topic question:
No i have never been in Trent. Do you mean the town on the island 'Rugen' on the north coast?
I leave in the south, near to the alps and the borderline to austria. I was one day in Bremen, this was the most nordic point i have been in germany 😄
Where are you from?

Yeah, prob just price feed...seems that way with all EA's. I'm at US recommended broker MyFxChoice. I am in CA, USA.

I don't think it's an Island, I see Trent on Google Maps. Looks nice but I don't know much about it since I don't make enough to travel. I am hoping someday with my EA's I can live that life? So far it all seems like a pipe dream because I never seem to get ahead. But now that I am using Keltner and Rev Trader I am hoping all that changes. I'm going to work hard on being patient.

Hi bigtraderapp,
this is what i found about Trent:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trent,_Germany

> I am hoping someday with my EA's I can live that life?
I am also hoping this. Even more: Buy a house without a f***g bank credit (i hate banks, they are vampires), live like a King, make my family happy.
I plan to quit my job in 2 years. I am fed up of it...

> So far it all seems like a pipe dream because I never seem to get ahead.
How long have you been trying?
I tried to do forex since 2009 and started to experience with EAs since 2011.
Bur i never learned how to trade properly and how to chosse the EAs.
Result: Many thousands € lost.

> But now that I am using Keltner and Rev Trader I am hoping all that changes.
I hope the same. I believe these are the best (affordable) EAs in the world today.

> I'm going to work hard on being patient.
This is the key i think.
A trader should first learn to be humble and patient.
Avidity leeds only to margin call. I read one day in a german trading forum, that a good trader is someone who blew up his account at least 3 times. Before that he is only a beginner.

It´s like every job which brings you up. Work, learn, work harder, learn more, take time and one day you re a professional

I agree with everything you said and I am in similar boat except retiring from bad injury at work and need to supplement my retirement in the future with the passive income an EA can hopefully provide. I believe these are the best overall too.

You heard Jared does not trade NZD/USD anymore right? Just asking because saw you had a few trades...

Yeah, that is the Trent!

I hope our EA's start performing better soon, I feel confident they will but like we said must be patient over coming months not just this weeks trades ;o)

@happyjack
i think it s only a bad day.
As they say in the big discussion of Jared´s account, what happenend today (the black swan) doesnt happen often.
Rev Trader Pro also had al bad time last friday (or monday). I lost over 16% (double risk), but now it´s growing again.
EAs are not perfect. If they were, then there would be no forex anymore.
EAs sometimes win, sometimes lose.
If the wins are more often than the losses, or (much more important) the wins are bigger than the losses, then we can be happy.
Ok, i saw EAs making profits for over one year, then suddenly back to zero.... Forex Invest Bot for example.
So we can never be sure... Let´s wait and hope for better times 😄

@bigtraderapp
bad injury at work? 😲
are you physically ok now?
Or are there consequences?

Hey Ricki72, you were lucky you did not get in the USD/CHF trades. I have same settings as you with filter to true and BE but the EA placed a bunch of bad USD/CHF trades in my account.

Did activtrades have the huge gap?

The thing that frustrating is Jared has 3 huge winners that we did not get. he also does not have the USD/CHF losers.

Yeah, need spinal surgery...unfortunately lots of consequences. This loss today is the least of my problems lol... but I have my faith and family which is what really counts :o)

I just asked them.
Unfortunately not. It s a GB broker, they are not regulated in the USA, so they cannot accept clients who live there.
I´m sorry!

About Jared i don´t know what is going on... He trades manually and interferes in the EA. This should not be.
About your physical problems i am very sorry. We talk in private abut it.

@ricki72 , have any suggestions to make this system better?

Hi Rhino,
no, i am not experienced in forex and i don´t know how this EA works.
But at least it´s much safier than Rev Trader Pro.

I have the entry_filter and breakeven set to true and my results are better than on the master (Jared´s) account. This is the only difference.
