Ok, so what's going on here?

We have a system that's +472%, equity $80k, open trades -$1000, highest $1700 and 100% win ratio, never mind $80k is unaccounted for.

Whatever is happening here ? Where did the $80k come from? Someone's cooking the books I'm afraid.

After investigating the above account, we have found no issues with the calculations.

Robominer has a 100% win rate due to its logic......

However, these numbers need explaining. The 472% is based on a $300 account and by my calculations this account is margined out right now. The only thing keeping it alive is the $80 000 equity.......and I don't see no $80 000 open trade????

So guys.......what gives?

The open trades aren't reflected that is why the stats are deceptive. How could anybody make 25 trades in a row with a 40 pip profit on each trade?. Factor in the open trades running at huge losses and that nonsense 590% profit vanishes.

nice observation stephanus, looks like you're correct..

just briefly going over the open positions losses, it looks like the system is up only 58%, which is still not bad, but of course it's not 590%.

Hello everyone!

My appologies for not getting back here sooner. I will try to address everyones questions and concerns.

I am managing my parents account. They deposited $79,898 and recieved a $300 bonus. No books are being cooked. Not sure why the extremely inflated percent, but it appears to be fixed and is more in line with my calculations of close to a 3% gain for the month thus far and essentially makes 4-10% every month. My previous account in the US with a slightly higher risk profile allowed me to double my account in 7 months, but I had to be willing to also accept a high DD of close to 35%. Having to watch that occur almost made me want to take a few whiffs of pure O2.

Yes, it is RoboMiner which is a grid trading system that will take 40 pip profits on each and every trade with no loosers as long as you can tolerate the drawdown which if trading at the recommended settings will be very light. Someone above indicated that it has open trades running huge losses, but in fact the highest I've seen it go is $4-5k which on an $80k account and to put this into perspective equates to an approx. 6% DD not what I would call high at all.

Ya, I been down that road. Cost me $15 000. Grids aren't viable strategies.
