My account only can trade 0.10 ( minimum lots ) ... [neutral]
Becarefful they just change my leverage from 1:500 to 1:100 without email notification, i don't know if you have that kind of experience [evil]

Good thing is that you can trade 0.001 lots. really bad are the many requotes and at low volume and news the spreads widen up extremly. Actually at asia session the eur/aud has 30 Pips spread(!!!) EUR/USD 9 Pips.

Usually you have to use Stop Losses except you hedge your positions. If you don't set it in the system you has to close the orders manually your loss taget was hit. Else your account get burned sooner or later.
I set stop losses in my system which are far away like 30-100 pips, but when I see than my position does not this what I like to see, I close it earlier manually. Once my position goes in profit for more than x pips I set my SL to break even or lock in some profit.
I'm a scalp trader.

I have a live ECN-Account with FX-Open since 2 Months.
Disadvantages:
- comissions are bit high (1pip), but is ok (higher than Dukas)
- I had a stuck during News-Release for 20sec, which scared me but ok other brokers has problems too
- sometimes in the rollover time their Banks widen the EUR/USD spreads (4+ Pips) .. Broker like ATC had 0.8 Pips spread at the same time.
Advantages:
- Low minimum deposit for ECN ($1000)
- same bank-feed as dukascopy but you can use Metatrader
- very fast and good support, they compensated me some money I lost because the StopLoss was delayed once some minutes......

I agree. Would be nice to have some settings for the proxy.

I tested this broker on a demo accout because I was looking for a micro forex account. But even on the demo account I get errors all this time, for example "too many orders".
Is this also an issue on a live account?

I have a live account since 1 year. Works very good. No major problems actually.
1. thightes spreads
2. 0.5 Pips steps
3. I like the TWS Platform. Its very nice but also very complex. Also the Web-Trader is acceptable but no chating support.
4. true ECN/STP
5. very fast executions
6. good deposit/withdraw
7. very good support
8. high reputation
9. cheap commissions for high volume traders (0.2 - 0.1 Pip per side)
10. you can also trade other securities like stocks, futures, .. (no CFDs)
There are only some disadvantages:
1. you cannot trade during the rollover time
2. For IDEAPLPRO minimum ......

I have to setup the proxy for each application. But the application must support it with like Metatrader itself does (Options/Server/Proxy). I also set up the http_proxy environment variable but your dll seem to be does not support proxy servers because there is no property to define the proxy settings.
For a workaround I can setup a Metatrader with the EA on my Server. It should work there because its directly connected.
Maybe there can be a new EA property in the future called "proxy_server" or something like this? Just a suggestion.
