Thanks for the responses.
We have implemented a hedging strategy in order to reduce the DD. I still believe that with the current setting, the system is still be able to survive in most of the market situation. At least, it has proved it in the last year though need to sustain a significant DD some times.
Let's see how it performs this year....
Thanks for the replies anyway [smiley]

Hi there,
unmanaged martingale is certainly a time bomb waiting to explode.
however, the good side of martingale could be exploided with caution. In my humble opinion, to use martingale successfully, we must first know how to trade, then we shall use martingale as semi manual trading mode. Never let martingale handle the trade fully and pray for it to pass.
I use martingale for years in trading live, imposing a feasible % gain (15% - 25% a month) and take over manually if margin hit certain threshold (-5%-10%) will certain prevent the account from overtrade......

Hi Solar,
Thanks for your comments. The EA has its own logic to adjust the TP and SL level.
In my humble opinion, EAs with all types of strategy (including martingale) has its own risk and potential. I believe that no single system is perfect. Therefore, we should find a combination of systems (instead a single system) with different strategies to form a portfolio for generating consistent profit.
This EA uses a combination of grid trading and money management strategy to generate profit. I am not saying that it is perfect and will be profitable forever (I think no people can give su......

A new account set up for the system WFL031 with more aggressive setting. We target to improve the monthly ROI from 6-8%/month to 10-15%/month.
Please ignore the trading history before 22 Nov 2010 as they were related to the real test of another system.
