One thing that does strike me is how over confident you are. You said you had 3 losing years out of your 4 year forex trading career. Who is to say that your 8 month winning streak is now over and the losing will kick in again? Remember, one swallow doesn't make a summer.
I admire your enthusiam but do not mis-place your confidence. Best of luck to you.

Thanks Zebra, the DD is obviously way past anything acceptable but I started with a very high risk and fortunately I got through it and I am now employing my proper money management and hopefully I should keep it below the stated max DD.

Thank you, FED decision and resulting PA kinda ruined my day but thats how it goes sometimes unfortunately. Always another day.

It's a tough one isn't it? Hindsight always adds confusion and doubt. How many years did you backtest prior to going live? Perhaps this is just a small correction and say 6-12 months down the line, things will be normal again.
I think running only shorts is a worthwhile test though as I'm sure you'll know most analysts are calling for EU to drop back below 1.19 within 12 months.
