I have an EA from MT4/5 that needs to be coded to run on the Oanda API. With this transition we are looking for faster execution times and fill rates. API has a function that allows orders that cannot be filled in a specified time frame to be "killed" off this should decrease the amount of trades but increase the profitability of the strategy. If anyone here has gone through the transition process please provide your experience and if the speed increase in execution is worth the jump.
