Black Lion Capital Management uses a 100% systematic approach combining long term trend following methodology with short term trend following strategies. The investment objective of all BLCM trading programs are to extract profits from up or down markets, resulting in a return stream that exhibits very low correlation with traditional asset classes such as; stocks, bonds, and, real estate. Our Automated program is designed for short term trading, analyzing multiple time frames and indicators, and blending short-term trades with long-term trends.We have also implemented filtering techniques in our long term trend following strategy to avoid trades with adverse risk/reward characteristics. While the filter’s goal is to capture profits, its selectiveness allows the system to enter markets only during periods when the risk/reward of a trade is heavily in the trade’s favor. It is even possible that if unacceptable risk characteristics exist, the filter could avoid trades with positive profit expectations.
