Being a trader myself I am aware of the quirks in myfxbook's numbers, but you are wrong in saying that it's the cumulative gain that is important, it's not - if you move an account from 100 down to 80 in one trade and then back to 100 in one trade your cumulative gain will show +5% because first you've lost 20% and then gained 25%. You will be at break-even and absolute gain will correctly show 0%. Ranesh.... Who are those "right" individuals you speak of? Surely people gullible enough to be conned into thinking that you can make profits trading currencies. The absolute gain on your account is 22% while your equity is at 77%, that means that you are currently down to .77*1.22=0.9394 ...In other words you've lost 6% since last summer. Forgive me for bumping my own thread, but I'd only like to add that this is not really a suggestion for a new feature as much as an extension of a feature already available to Meta Trader 4 users to everyone else. So give this some more yes votes you bastards ;) !

There is an easy solution to your problem, I am using it myself right now - open an MT4 subaccount on Oanda and set up MT4 publisher to send data to myfxbook. You can trade this new account using FX Trade and your trading history will appear in MT4, then, when you want to update your fxbook simply open meta trader for a few minutes so that it uploads your history to myfxbook and voila, problem solved. The only inconvenient bit with this workaround is that you have to trade in multiples of micro lots (1000 units) because the minimum position size in MT4 is 1k, but thats only an issue if you hav...

For those who are running multiple strategies on a single account (and do not use Meta Trader) it would be a great feature if it was possible to tag trades so that one could perform custom analysis on trades belonging to a single strategy. For example if someone has a breakout strategy, a trend following strategy and indulges in the occasional punt based on nothing but gut feel it would be awsome if it was possible register 3 tags: BO for breakouts, TRND for trend trades and GMBL for gambles and then be able to assign one of those tags to each trade one makes so that one could to perform custo...
