I know that most trading systems that can make those kinds of gains are very risky systems (martingale, grid, hedging). Be very careful of sharks.

Ask your friend how much risk there is to make 15%-20% per month. How much maximum drawdown is there. You need to see live verified results. Not screenshots that can be photo shopped. If it is mt4, than have the system hooked up to the verified results here on myfxbook.

I wait for it to break the trendline, moving averages and above or below a swing high or low. The strategy I am using has been profitable. Modest consistent gains, but because I use a tight stop loss (70) pips, the profits per pip is good. It actually can keep up with a 600-1000 pips showboat system. I have been testing it since April 2018. I don't know how it will perform over coming years, but it is a very safe strategy.

I am a swing trader. I like to catch the up and down price swings of the EUR/USD. I usually get about 2-5 trades per month, so I need some patience. I use S/R technical levels, trendlines, and moving averages on 1 hour and 4 hour charts in my strategy. I use a tight stop loss and i only open 1 trade at a time to keep drawdown very low. That way I can trade with higher lots safely, which means more profits per pip. I hope this helps someone new to trading.

Forexstress: I like using S/R levels, trendlines, along with moving averages to catch breakouts and trend reversals. I love using charts to see how traders are moving the markets. I think because of Trump announcement of going ahead with China trade war tariffs, the eur/usd Forex pair could be moving lower. If it breaks below 1.15650. Target 1.15000 area. We shall see. Lots of European inflation data coming out this coming week and ECB president Mario Draghi will be speaking on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I personally like to trade the EUR/USD because I find it is the most predictable. Maybe it's because i have been trading for around 6 years now. I like to catch breakouts and trend reversals.

Looks like the eur/usd is ranging between 1.12000 and 1.12500. The NFP on Friday should change that.
