Contest will not reveal the best fund manager. I know for a fact one guy whom I like very much and who won contest but was not able to manage OPM after he was given the chance. Contest has time limits but trader's career doe snot. Contest also encourages excessive risk taking which is not good for real account management.

contest is a bad idea. Being good fund manager/ trader is about being a turtle, not a rabbit.

I simply believe that after trader provided track record with good risk control, reasonable returns and was tested on testing account there should be amount to manage enough for trader to make good living by making reasonable returns with good risk. having trader trade $25-100 000 for this kind of pay practically encourages excessive risk taking.

$25 000 as a testing account is ok. But there should be much bigger carrot behind than $100 000 which is also very small amount for trading FX market considering FX price action and especially with 15-25% which is very low for this kind of money.

:) I have no idea how this happened but I did forget to log into original account and made those couple of trades. However I did do it fearfully... as I was thinking 20%. This is the highest I have brought account as I have never crossed 20% after I started controlling losses and risk. It is hard to trade with hard stops.

I am not 10.24% up but 20,6% up. Please ignore full Report account and check my profile. Otherwise i do not think there is anything to discuss here.I have no system as other guys here do.I am just trading and everything is on my thread in experienced traders Just Oil.

Ok, I decided. Account I have been trading so far is named Oil 20% a.I feel that I was trading differently this week. Too tentative and too much thoughts about 20% level.I guess it was a lucky coincidence that I actually made a couple of trades on that account which is at the office.I called this account OIL 20% b continuation and I will trade this account now until I am hopefully another around 20% up.https://www.myfxbook.com/portfolio/oil-20-b-continuation/111698another inactive will stay there inactive until I have some other idea how to trade oil.

Account is up 4,6% this month so far and totally oil is up 20,6% so far.Taking break till next week.

no,I am at the office asI PMedyou and a lot of guys... so,I trade oilfrom here too and had to download MT4and then logged into my original and traded.then when leaving I logged out and it became another flat account.today,I forgot to log into my original. made 1%. so,i started thinking may be it is.the best way wouldhave been to withdaw 20% but as I cannot may be I willjust start trading new account. 4.5% this month already.

I got an idea.I can start trading new account continuing trading as if I withdrawn those money.I madeone more tarde on this account and I am well over 20% now. older 20% account will be posted and i will continue trading new one.

just crosssed 20% but closed my short too early again. it isallthis barrier messing my mind.shorted from 97.50 and closed at 30 pips.it is already 90 down.

was taking nap. just checked. It was excellent text book opportunity to short form yesterday's low 97.50. candlesticks on 5 min shouts short.

shorted again but closed for few pips as price started moving against me before going to previous low. will restart watching Numex session. will stop for now.I am really tentative now as I am around 20%.Outside the very beginning of my trading when I doubled 2 demos and almost doubled one live account in 2008 thanks to high volatility and bad risk management I have not been able to cross 20% with sound principles. It is fifth time so , I am a little bit nervous. I see i was indeed right again but closed early.

$0.1 per pip is a minimum. I think it is too much as oil is making 100 pips in 10-15 min.
