Steve, if one spike blows account it is not broker's problem. I tis trader's problem. should use less leverage.

the number of BE stop is huge last 2 days. price is very choppy. the last BE was the worst. shorted at 1.2203. target 1.21430. moved stop to be once in 15 pips, was looking to take half at 30 pips, it hit my stop and then dropped. morning was similar had 24 pips waiting few more pips before taking profit and BE again and 3 BE yesterday. It kind of having bad influence upon me seeing pips roll without me in. will probably take one day off to smell flowers, go to gym and sit in sauna. I feel simply f*cked up.

why? I feel ok trading with stops. but I always used them. it is kind of second nature now.

you had 62 pips on day trading account and did not lock some profit? I would advice to take half position at 2:1 R:R and let the rest running and just keep locking profits.

2 pips? it is a bit extreme stop. I do have some trades with 6 pips stop but 2 😀

I also reduced numbr of watched pairs form about 30 to 16. On 8H TF same strategy I will be trading only 2 pairs e/u and a/u. a/u tends to have excellent trends.

We are having a lot of news this week too. Tomorrow early morning Spanish news... and NFP week. I am all live since tomorrow but still will open trades on my older demo along with daily live account which I am showing now. The rest will show when have something to show.

Guys, I believe the only mistake I made was not moving stops to BE right away and may be not taking partials on new trades. I will remember it. I took all those short positions cause those were the only signals to go short. no signals to go long. currently there is a couple of signals to look for buy. I will be watching.Another thing, news could move trades in my direction even further. it happens more often along the trend.I also want to point that I took previously partials on too many trades too early and reduced my profit potential. made few mistakes of closing trades manually without sign...

Hi Steve, I tend to agree with you on almost everything. I do need to reduce number of pairs to 10. Actually it is what the guy who shared this approach with me is doing. 10 majors. I already have idea which one they will be.Eur/Usd, Aud/Usd, Eur/Jpy, Nzd/Usd, Nzd/Jpy, Aud/Jpy, Gbp/Usd, Gbp/Jpy, Eur/Aud and Aud/Nzd most probably, may be will make a couple of changes.On the other hand to stop trading doe snot mean anything...I had a short losing period which turned winning again and it was a piece of news that reversed my second winning wave but those news could push price in my direction and i...
