I hate too much automation as IMHO it can lead us to this:https://www.myfxbook.com/files/Chikot/images.jpgor something similar but still not very appealing. I wonder what those guys in big corporations think when they cut and cut work force and increase level of computerization and automation. Finally, who is going to buy their stuff if everything automated. I strongly believe our current economic predicaments are to the great extent caused by automation that was gutting job markets for decades. Those jobs gone and hamburger flipping ain't going to make a good substitution.

automation works and manual trading works. to each their own. Some like PipG enjoy spending time on beach hence automation is a good bet 😉

I think that depending on situation if pull back is too big may be it does not worth to be traded. May be it is a false signal.

yes, just wait after break out of the level you are looking for for price to come back even few pips. you can get better price most probably and little slippage. one thing. I trade with 5 pips spread and hence do not use limit orders as I tended to miss trades altogether cause it often did not retrace this much. good trade usually has very little DD before going into profit.

I have no idea what broker you use. I have very little slippage with FXPrimus. But to avoid slippage you simply should not enter on the first push when liquidity most probably decreases due to increased orders flow. wait for pull back retracement and then place market/ limit order. There is much smaller chance for slippage and I actually often get more favorable price as price tends to move into my favor. I only use market orders.

There might be some hedge things that i do not understand how to do. Overall from history I see that you control your losses using stop loss I only see that you use high leverage and with losing streak it can damage account quite seriously but you also mentioned hedges so you probably do something I do not get and hence as I mentioned before that i am most probably not qualified to criticize you 😕Results look very good...I wish to see it on l...

try FX Primus. I do not have 400:1. but I saw it as an option when choosing my leverage.the broker is very good. never had any problems and when I lost trade due to platform issues they returned the money.

Yeah, despite not trading live I am happy this week cause I did everything same I was doing live but was taking profits. I did same trades before but did not take profits or took partial profits. results were much more modest.

as far as I see each crisis makes me better trader. the change of shcedule caused me DD but made me think and work on my trading to improve it further.

No kidding but my trading is improving by lips and bounds. In any case I will reconnect to myfxbook only in summer when I have my full trading schedule back as with 3 hours daily I am not sure. It is hard.In short, I completely changed my entries in comparison to summer and I see things differently always looking for order flows. my stops/ risk also got smaller.

I have been following my plan regarding taking profits on full position and results have been simply excellent. average winner pip wise about 2:1 to losers. it looks like I am 200+ pips up this week. I did not trade live this week but I will restart next week. I will let know when i start trading live. May be Monday may be little bit later.

I feel I lack only time to look for good opportunities before Nymex opens. it is simple, the more time the bigger the pull of opportunities / samples as it is odds game.

it went much further than my target 96.20. I picked few pips above this target. also picked 30 pips from 96.79 short risking 22 pips. Today off day so I could trade this time. I wish live trading continues same was as this demo.
