When you run a PAMM at RVD markets. The PAMM manager (adrian8891) has control of 100% of the capital. Which means everytime a new client enters, it shows as a DEPOSIT in your stats. So when you close your pamm or withdraw from it, each cent which was in the account has to be seen in the transaction history. So in other words you liquidate the account, and then the funds are trandfered evenly to those who had their respective % in the pamm. Anyone can see that if your equity curve went from 67% to negative 12% then you took a loss.Which means the person who go in when the account was 0 to 67%...
How reliable is backtests?

Hello. Why would you say scalping strategies and backtesting is 100% useless? Such open ended statements reveals your bias towards BIAS TRADING which is investing. Scalpers make money on both sides of the coin, as investors only look to FOLLOW the trend. We see how well that worked from 1.39xx to 1.30xx on EU huh..

Why do people use the word MAY MIGHT WILL in forex? If you have a bias towards any direction you will simply limit the amount of pips you can make.

Everyone is so focused on EU when we can make money else where. Today I earned 7% (and would of been way more if I had simply not gotten excited and closed) not trading EU

Chin. Please be aware that Adrian has already blown a PAMM account over at RVDMARKETS... Are you sure you want to follow this guy? https://backoffice.rvdmarkets.com/monitoring.php?id=49614?id=49614 He also claims that he was forced into liquidation by clients to move funds! That is B.S. when you can clearly see he margin called his position.

Yes that is assuming you have no losses. It urks me when people give such silly stats like that. Even if a person could trade WITHOUT emotions, the reality is if you compound (which is what your math entails) then you would have to never lose in order to obtain that amount in 24 months!

Not bad? Don´t you see his drawdown? Don´t you see he is a bias trader. He doesn´t respect price action and because of that the account suffered a massive lost! Think about it. Look at his deposits history. You are telling me the customer who sent him 5k ended up winning? When after the depsoit the nose dive begun.

You are such a lier! When you have a PAMM at RVD MARKETS, once a withdrawn is made the entire pamm is closed. Meaning there are no monies left in the account. Which is why that account is in the deleted section, and which is why you removed that account from myfxbook, so we can´t see how much of the funds of the clients you actually lost! Why not load that account so we can see it here all at myfxbook.

I´m actually much better then you. Which is why I don´t delete the accounts as you have done with rvdmarkets. Amazing how the guys have deposited 25k usd and then all of a sudden all you have withdrawn was about 3k usd :)
Do you think 1000% a year is sufficient ? What is your performance ?

So would that entail only using a very small portion of your account? It appears that is what 95% of the people in forex do, and they still suffer a margin call. I would believe the actual apporach is all wrong. Instead of being able to withstand any move, you should be prepared to follow the actual short term move.

The biggest thing about scammers is how they use deception to attract sheep! Thus making that guy a scammer! I am sure he didnt tell anyone that it is a cent account.

I to also followed this guy. For the most part grid systems such as aDRIAN GETS spanked in trending markets as the ones we have seen the last 4 months. As he wagers heavily on reversals ( which has yet to come) results in his account being margin called. The sad thing is that he did well at the start, but once his investors invested he got hammered. Most would blame it on the EA, but i almost certainly am sure that his manuel trading bias lead to the account being blown. Don´t blame the EA, blame the trader for going against the EA!

Don´t fall for this guy. He has already blown investors money over at rvdmarkets. He starts out fine, but once people follow him he loses his mind and margin calls the account!

Interesting post. Although expection will reduce/increase your drawdown, the reality is drawdown % is by far an over rated stat. As the amount of pips you give to the market is what actually determines your drawdown %. Of course the value of each pip gainned or lost, but the reality is most people don´t over leverage, but uinder leveraging creates much more bias, then those who over leverage. The decline of the EUR over the last 4 months support the aforementioned paragraph. People think because they are using SMALL lots that they can out last the sell off we see. The trend is still down. How can you can tell by not looking at the higher tf? Well have a look at the spikes up we have seen over the last 4 trading days for eu. Don't you notice how quickly the spiked candle is engulfed, and how the bear candles (spikes) tend to be much longer and fuller then the bulls. Although I scalp, if I am in a long position for a big lot sizes, if I see I quickly gain 10-15 pips on EU I quickly trail the currency as tight as I can.
