I thought this EA is for trading AUDCAD only, but now you are trading other pairs and gold as well?! Are those manual trades?

I stopped this system on my last account with IBFX(AU) today, because it is dependent on volatility and volatility is rather scarce in the last months. The system does not adopt itself and there are no updates from the developer. Maybe an earlier version would do better, but I don't have time to try it out.Happy trading!Fred

Anybody else still trading MDP?Had a nice profit today for 82 pips (4 trades). But for months MDP has been more or less break-even and I am only trading with one account still and mainly for the rebates (on IBFX).CheersFred

Had also four winning trades yesterday for 45.9 pips on my IBFX account. But had stopped MDP on my big account. I am still running it on IBFX for the rebates. I think markets are not good for MDP at the moment, though. The moves are too strong.I am running a lot of "old" EAs successfully in the meantime, like WallstreetForex, HyperEA and IrisFX.And I am testing spread-trading, also called correlation-trading again. Like in crude-oil you can take and compare WTI and Brent or indices S&P 500 and DJ30 or commodities corn and wheat. Many brokers offer these kind of CFDs on MT4 in...

Hey Johann, so many questions... It depends on how much money you have in the account 😄. But you can see in the MDP-display what lot-sizes MDP intends to open next time it trades. I am using a risk-setting of 2 lately, and max_simultaneous_orders =2. MDP trades against short-term spikes so watching the overall trend won't help here. Can't say about your other EAs, though. I am not watching the thread here all the time, by the way.Good luck!Fred

3 slighthly positive trades today with MDP on my main account, +5.3 pips. Nothing to write home about, but in the last days have recovered about half of the drawdown since March. I am pretty sure we will see more pips with MDP, because the grexit-fear increases volatility which is good for MDP.Fred

I will stop MDP now, because I am experiencing high slippage lately plus I have to pay commission, this is no good trading environment for MDP. Overall I am disappointed by this broker, because they changed the trading conditions from no slippage to a lot of slip without a warning and without explanation. But, oh well, it is only a testing account and I haven't expected anything else from a unregulated broker.Happy trading!Fred

That's not quite right. FinFX only offers LIMIT-oders with no slippage and that's what almost every broker does, although they don't advertise it like FinFx. But MDP uses STOP-orders for entry and exit, so slippage is still possible. Ask them, if you don't believe me.I have my main account at a professional's broker in the UK now and am very pleased. Made + 4.7 % (risk = 2) with MDP on Friday. I recommend them over FinFx because they are regulated in the UK and slippage is below 1 pip with MDP usually. Order execution and modification is very fast and of course VPS is free....

Made over 10 % on third account (risk=3), smaller gains on first, +4.4 % on main account (not published). Volatility has returned to the markets and MDP is profiting - sometimes 😄.But I am testing other systems as well, like the old IrisFX. This EA also profits greatly from the same brokers that are good for MDP (like no stop-levels, fast order modifiying and low spreads).Happy trading!Fred

April wrap-up:Not much going on in April. Few trades and mostly losses again like in March. I stopped using stop-orders for entry. MDP is obviously in a draw-down, but is also rather inconsistent and gives little return on investment by trading so infrequently. I am thinking about stopping MDP and cashing in my gains as long as there are some. 😀CheersFred

April: Not much going on in April, MDP did not recover, but did also only trade a little. Broker obviously put me on the real market from 25/04/, because I am experiencing slippage now. I started trading a different scalping-system additionally on 30/04. I still have to fine-tune this, but it is promising. This account is only for testing and maybe I will stop MDP here.CheersFred
