Hi FlabruneI'm using my own concoction of Parabolic and Moving Averages. 1. Open up blank chart.2. Place Parabolic on chart.3. Right Click on Chart and go to Indicators List. 4. In Indicators List, highlight Parabolic and Edit.5. Change Colour if required and then go to Width and go to 2.6. Place 1 Day Smooth Moving Average On Chart.7. Again Right Click on Chart and go to Indicators, highlight Moving Average and Edit.8. Apply to First Indicator's Data.9. Place 5 Day Smooth Moving Average on chart and any other MA's you may want.10. I agree, it looks like scribble and it's hard to see through it all, but if you look hard enough there are hidden gems in there!!! Just need to keep looking. Apart from that if you look at the EURUSD chart I'd say that was pretty spot on!!! My advice is this start analysing charts on the Monthly then work backwards. You will also find that where trend lines cross these are resistance and support lines.My attitude is try everything and anything, because you never know what you will discover. Not a stupid question at all, very sensible question if anything. Don't be hasty, trade demos as long as needs be until you can see consistency. You know what I think, these Elliott Wave Theorists forget every other Technical Indicator, trend lines, the lot just so they can get their flat, their triangle, their double bottom and anything else they can think up. I think it is the Elliott Wave Theorists who manipulate the market and I think it is a Bankers Theory.

A Simple Trading Strategy - Candlestick Cross & Candlewick Cross. At the start of Every Month, Every Week, Every Day Do the Candlestick & Candlewick Cross, but especially at the start of every month. Best thing about Candlestick Crosses and Candlewick Crosses is that you can use them on range bound markets. So if a pair is trading in a range, these are the best strategies to use.

EURUSD Using Candlewick Cross (Red) & Candlestick Cross (Green) Buy above those lines, sell below. Although it's not that simple works best on longer time frames. Algorithms know where all these trend lines are, it's hard for us humans to keep up with them.
