Hi all.Ran into the worst of lucks. My computer chrashed and burned, without me having backups of the EA on a CD... 😭When I get Instatrader up and running, I'll put all open orders on trailing stop, and then I'll have to rebuild the EA from scratch again (ok, ok, just laugh at me, I deserve it...)Cheers and a happy New Year.

As far as I remember, Shocker went to version2 in Spring, maybe that's why?And as I recall, it didn't do well on live accounts (scalping Asian session)CheersSoeren

At the moment, the TP has been moved to +70 pips, and the SL has been moved up to lock 16 pips profit (16.3)I noticed the one loser was only -2.7 pips, and until now it seems pretty solid. It'll be interesting to follow it for the coming months...Steve, did you look at how the earlier trades behaved? Like how much drawdown was allowed?CheersSoeren

Is it a demo or real account? - if its demo, open the mailbox in metatrader, you should find it there...If its real, get fx primus to resend you the investor password, if you don't already have it in a welcome mail.CheersSoeren

Just took a closer look...If you look only on the longs starting Nov. 22nd 10:08 - the total floating loss from these positions accumulate to 51'227$ before turning in the right direction again. However, in the meantime, the EA opens short orders, the first 6 at minimum lotsize 0.1, then recoverysystem kicks in, and it opens an 8.0 lot short order on the 26th at 15:38 and again at 16:40 reducing drawdown significantly should the price move further down (only 3.1 lots on the long side).On the 29th at 13:11 2 more short orders of 5.0 lots each is opened, making the short orders the big side ...

Just changed max orders to 200 down from 500 - didn't check the limit before starting testing, so I'm now already at the limit.Now I have to wait for some orders to close to get the EA going the right way again - and 200 orders is not a lot for 32 instruments.CheersSoeren

I'm using Instaforex, although its a russian broker. It's a fairly high fixed spread broker, but you can get 1.3 pip rebate via cashbackforex (PM me for details if you wan't) The advantage is, you can open a microaccount with 1$ and start trading. Their standard lotsize is only 10'000 units, so trading a minilot is like trading microlots with most other brokers (That's 0.0001 standard market lots - 10 units). Keep away if it's a news trader, people have complained that Insta tend to disconnect at important newsevents. I don't know about requotes, cause I only use an...

Hi all.This is a demoaccount I've opened to demonstrate how my EA performs now that I'm finished developing it.Because of Instaforex's limitation of max. 500 open orders I'm only using the gridtrading part. 32 instruments might even be too many for only 500 orders, but we'll see how it goes.Cheers to all.Soeren
