Its not about Frero - he's doing fine.Also, its obviously understood about account size to get correct ratio of lots. I dont agree with having to trade with same brokerAnyways - this conversation doesnt belong in this thread.So back to Frero.

I only pick signals 3M and above. But, it doesnt stop the scam. They have crashed right after subscription.

Broker itself is the signal provider.So they make money from signal fees.And also, if people trade with the same broker hoping to get less slippage.And, they crash the signal soon after, because their purpose is not to make money for followers. Its to collect fee and be done.The signal was crashed right after a big withdrawal.

Correct - many signals are created by the brokers themselves, and they supply manipulated data to show great performance.The benefit here is that broker makes commission when we trade. And the signal fee.When they crash the signal they dont lose any money - because the same amount of trades are hedged in another account.

And how many signals run 10 months in a row? Not even 5%.So basically, followers may lose their own investments just a few months after subscribing.So my conclusion, that followers cannot win in this business in the end. They probably lose most of their capital in a few months.

Of course, trader can do anything he wants. Thats obviously true.I was responding to your saying that followers can close out positions. They can. But thats not the point of passive investing.Just saying. You are ok.

This is not about Frero.This is a general question, that how can a signal that makes 10-20% a month, be profitable eventually, when it can lose 10-20% every few months. And can lose 100% on any day.About waiting till signal close - yes - we can let it drawdown to 20%, 30%, 50%, 70%... and then if trader closes positions, we are not at 70% loss. May be 100% loss.So while waiting to rebound is fine, there's no way to tell if it will come back from 50% drawdown. So you can only know when trader closes - which can be at 0.
