PipCollector is correct. Support and Resistance levels are easily determined by looking at the charts. My way is not unique but is based on a method that I haven't seen explained fully anywhere else. Here's a copy of a reply I posted to another message. I'm not touting for business as such but if you look at some of the videos there are clues there. Of course, like anything else in FX, having the ability to mark a chart up is no use unless you have a solid method of trading the levels. Last Aus trade closed with 74 pips profit. I thought at one stage we would hold above the most recent significant Daily close line at .8868 (shown in blue in this image) but price just took us out on the dip below that level.----------

There was a note in the blog about attaching images to a trade but I can't see any way of doing this. I could post them in the thread but wanted to try the new idea. Has it been discarded or am I having another senior moment?Pete

What's driving me mad is I traded brilliantly at Support during the uptrend but haven't been able to bring myself to go short at Resistance during this downtrend. Yet when I look at my levels, both current and historical, I know how accurate those levels are and can see time after time how price works its way up and down from them.Maybe I had TOO good a run going long and my old brain isn't agile enough to cope with the reversal. Nope. The demo was set up to test different ideas based on what I'd learned about S/R and the position sizing was a bit more flexible (ie more trades on more pairs without too much concern about risk).The live account is a long-term trade arena for me; no experimentation, just solid S/R with much bigger targets and stops. Not for the nervous out there. I only keep it online here as I can interrogate the stats easier on this site than trying to put an Excel file together. Plus the live account has been running longer with fewer stupid trades.

Hi BizI've posted some comments about US$ 'strength' in my blog https://peterfmsr.blogspot.com/ and although I feel that the upside potential for the Euro is good, it may be that there aren't enough big players ready to commit yet. I have been favouring the Aussie simply because any weakness in the US$ has resulted in a few decent moves in that pair while the EUR has been sitting in quite a tight range. Sorry guys, the system doesn't seem to tell me there are posts waiting to be read. I get an email for normal messages but only see these if I go to the Home Page.I'm struggling to change my bias on this pair; I can't accept that the US economy justifies all this Dollar strength.
