Hi Trick,Seer and Ninja are completely different platforms. It's not an add on to Ninja.I was never able to connect Seer to the automated price databases. I had to import it manually. I didn't have to do anything special to make it run offline - you just run the backtests.The Seer forum is very good. I suggest trying it.--Shaun

Hi nonlinear,That's sort of what I did. I designed the bin sizes so that I would get appropriate coverage across average bars. I didn't specifically exclude large bars. It's more that I didn't see any point in looking at them because the sample sizes are so small. I only want to look at things where I can make reasonable statistical assumptions.--Shaun

Equity curves are usually a dead giveaway of the strategy type. If most of the equity is above the balance, it's often a trend strategy. If the equity is often below the balance, it's a range strategy.Again, congratulations.

It looks like you're off to a great start. The fact that you're 75 trades in is a great start. I especially like that your equity is often higher than the end of day balance. It means you're not avoiding losses. Gauging strictly from the equity curve, I assume you're running a trending strategy?

It's profitable over a 6 year backtest. The market conditions have not fundamentally changed. Even if they do, the system should adapt to them.

Correct. The long term trend on USDCHF, not surprisingly, has flipped to bearish. My USDCHF trades going forward will all be short until the long term trend flips again.

Yes, it's the same. The GBPUSD trade lost and the USDJPY long is still open.There was an execution error on the GBPUSD this morning. The MAM correctly exited but the model account did not. The trade is still open as the exit signal was not vaild on the next bar. I'm currently trying to find the source of the discrepancy.

I only take signals with the long term trend. You are correct in that the risk to the strategy is severe corrections in the long term trend. I'm not worried about that over the short term - Draghi just did all the dollar bulls (like QB Pro!) a big favor.
