Yep 1:500 on cTrader Pro and 1:2000 max on MT4.but none needs that anyway unless you scalping half pips or whatever.

if you qualify as a professional trader, 500 leverage isn;t really a problem, but its not really something anyone needs anyway ;) i daytrade I did set my leverage to 30 just to make a point and show that there isn;t really a difference if one trades "sane" keep in mind, exposure matters far more than drawdowns or profits, meaning if you allow a 10% drawdown to make a 2% profit, that's just bad trading.

Could not agree more (with your whole post that is)... most people claim the risk .. while they do have a job, betting everything on a single paycheck that may (or may not) come next month.losing a single trade is part of the business and nothing really serious, losing the paycheck can be life-ending in today's society, so Yes, trading is definitely the better choice.there are some aspects in terms of morality, but hey we are just VERY small fish in a very very big pond ;)

that's right Risk & Exposure is everything!its the only things you can control, so why try to control somethings no one has control over, my slogan is: Losing money professionally ;) that does lead to profitability, but the average Instagram trader that want's to be rich in 3 days won't understand that.

KYI / KYC is a serious thing, the broker could run into legal issues with regulators if KYC isn't done properly.they inform you serval times before taking any action, making the whole experience very streamlined.customer service is exceptionally helpful.they also provide a user to user exchange where inhouse assets can be "traded" between members where the broker acts as a escrow, it works on ask-bid system, and is only avaiable in certain countries due to regulation.

there is one other major flaw (not in your message but in the day trading dream itself)in order to make a living, you need to have the capital to trade with.lets say you cheap and go with 50k or so ..but then in order to capitalize on a 10-15 pip move on a decent risk-reward ratio. there are 2 more problems.1. slipage 2. quotesslipage is somewhat controllable (if you know what you are doing)but regarding the quotes, as most traders use software like metatrader, this will become a loosing game.try to fill like 35-50 lots via marketorder, if your order line is then like 10 pips above the price, ...

daytrading does not work with 1:1 ratios, as the noise is too large.in daytrading it is by far more profitable to have a much lower win rate but a larger ratio.as you can compensate over serval trades.i myself have a hit rate of 44% only but thanks to the large Ratio, i can have 10 losers in a row and still get out of the day green

that is like asking "which bank does not charge interest" ;) even the "swap free" accounts offered to muslims are not swap-free .. they just build the cost of swap into your spreads, commissions or get it in some other ways.just pick a broker that is reasonable on swap charges.

if i request the daily gains via API .. the results are different than the ones are shown on the portfolio pages of the strategy.is there somethings i need to ajust based on timezones ?o do not submit a time on the "get-data-daily" request.also does anyone know how i can get the profability number and the Lenght of trade without sooling trough all trades ?

well i was just curious .. because i run a EA that does just that . (once drawdown goes to investment .. = close all) .. hardcore version .. like my own personal margin call ;) besides the drawdown .. the results are astonishing .. you wrote it yourself ?

yes edgewonk is awesome indeed .. especially for things that matters .. but it has some limitations .. as example if trade serval accounts .. the risk asessments are a bit a problem but for the psycology (and that what the journal is for) .. its perfect !for the accounting stuff we have myfxbook anyway ;)
