Thanks a lot for the observation. I guess easy to pick a losing period period (definition of a drawdown) for any strategy and highlight it but it has made about 2.5% in the last 3 months with minimal drawdowns...and about 22% since Sep17 with a drawdown of < 5%. I agree that it should have been better but in my defense i reduced risk after the 6% drawdown in a month and so the recent gains are much smaller in comparison (on a % basis but higher on a return/drawdown basis).The broker error (Pepperstone - was definitely not expecting this) happened for a month. Are you talking about any specific system?In general, if you have a win rate of 70% and a average loss/average win of 1.5:1, you expectancy is 0.7*0.67 - 0.3*1 = 0.17R, which is positive, quite decent for a system and doesn't invalidate any money/risk management principles. In addition, it does not break any rules specified by the OP, so i guess its ok to post here?

Hi sry to jump into the conversation but looking at this block of AUDCHF trades (opening times and opening prices), your system keeps selling more and more as the price keeps going against your initial position (around every 6-8 pips). All the trades are closed at once when in a profit. My 2 cents would be to manage every trade independently unless the strategy uses multiple entries. Losing trades should always be closed at the predetermined stop level at worst (most good risk management systems would try to close losers quicker). Otherwise they have a tendency to snowball and eventually blow the account. Thanks.
