"Jared's" goal is not quite the same as yours. While you aim at earning through trading with this EA, he only aims to sell as many copies of it as possible. For that reason, he traded with an unsustainably high risk at the very beginning - to create a false impression of the bot earning thousands of percent within a year. Right now, he must be busy with optimizing another EA for sales - so don't expect any timely and meaningful responses from him. BTW, two more GU losses on his account today. Looks like the pair's losing streak continues.

I don't mind incidential losses that are a routine part of the business. What puzzles me is a possibility of a steady and lengthy losing streak like the one discussed above. If we could figure its exact causes, we could switch the bot off for a time on GU should a similar market repeat again.

And why is that, in your opinion? High volatility usually stems from a lack of liquidity. Is the cause of this a smaller GBP liquidity while compared to the EUR one in EURUSD (not as much due to the QE timings as to the overall GBP market size relative to the EUR one)?On another note, the vendor's account has just taken three losing trades on GU today.

Jared, would there be any way for your EA users to select a lower TP target in its parameters? The bot traded twice today (both during the BoE and Fed events) opening a series of trades every time, was in a substantial profit both times yet fell short of the TP levels, erased all gains, hit a few SLs already, and currrently sits with a bunch more open trades in the negative, wtf. 😞
