It depends on people, to be quite frank. While I enjoy trading in forex trading, I do not consider it business just right away, but yes you can and will be able to make a profit, wouldnt that make you a trader, not a businessman?

Totally! being a scalper, spreads and commissions eat up alot if looking at yearly performance which could have saved atleast half, led me to find low-cost broker (ended up with fxview), had demo and started live few months ago and wished I could have found them earlier to save alot of unnecessary costs. but what's gone is gone, experience matters.

The moment they hear that you can make profit in trading, they will just rush in opening an account without thinking what to consider and where to start from. And just because of that they will become restless and will no sooner misuse their accounts and funds resulting in wiping the account.

Very true. As I said it in another thread, you will need to have a proper research and understanding and knowledge to make a right and profitable return else it will never gonna happen.

Weirdly, it will never work out that way. You will need knowledge and understanding everything about forex. And resonating with the strategy to ensure if you can make a profit consistently.

Yeah i checked with fxview they have 500x for professionals but that is not for retailers at all. i think its time to get used to 30x or move to offshores.

For me, the spreads have to be tight and no, the commission should not be higher, the lower the better. These are perfect term for scalping which is what I like to do with brokers like fxview.

Money Management is very important but do take into note that the leverage is not very easy and it is very risky especially for the beginner, because it can either give you a huge profit or huge loss.

Long time since I last traded fx, was a part timer back then. Now since I get steady income, wanted to start afresh. This broker was mentioned by a friend of mine, so decided to check out. Have to say got better conditions than what I used to trade on. Nice.
