Hi Gil,I used a custom date for two reasons:1. I injected news funds into my account at beginning of July...my account is much bigger now as it now contains all my trading resources, so wanted to start tracking again from the start of the new balance.2. That's exactly it Steve and the point I was trying to make. It's having the discipline to know what your mental stop loss is and at what point the reasoning that you entered you trade has been proven wrong.Speki - your analogy is doesn't work, you don't have to eat a Yorkshire pudding, it doesn't harm you if you don't, but not having basic risk management and discipline will harm everyone who attempts to trade.I think most if not all successful traders will state that the most important aspects in trading are risk management, discipline, patience and understanding psych...

I disagree - you don't need to be the best trader in the world to teach trading and to know and spot others mistakes just like you don't need to be the best scientist in the world to teach science, the best football player to be a be a good manager etc. etc.

Physical stop losses are there for physical protection of your capital. What is most important is the mental stop loss i.e. the price area at which your original reasoning for the trade entry proves invalid (This price then forms the basis of your risk calculation. You then have to manage the cumulative risk to one event occurring too and realize what max equity is exposed at any one time). Can you group individual accounts into one overall account for stats purposes. I have individual accounts that make up one overall account and all trades are based on the overall account size and thus stats for individual accounts are not accurate (I use 3 different brokers).

Looks to have a very very precise trading setup with aggresive risk taking...but the high win rate must give the confidence to do this.
