It is impossible to predict the optimal trailing for every market situation. The default trailing is statistically the best in 12 years simulation. Because many our customers dose not like it, there is an optional exponential trailing in the 2.42 version - Use_Exp_Trailing_II = true. The value of the Exp_Trail_Factor_II can be changed as you decide.Best regards!

Because, if you are patient you can get more then 250 pips in some cases. That is why the default TP is 300 pips and 500 pips in earlier versions.

Hello Pehn,If you have more then 150 pips profit for the breakout strategy and if you have a filing, you can close by hand and this will not affect the performance badly. Our statistic is indicative about this.Regards!

Pc8multifx, this is Alpari RU. I think it is the same with Alpari NZ. Albatore, this position is closed by hand. In the same moment in all demos i have 20 pips trailing stop near to the market price.As I told early in this thread, I will close by hand if there is a big profit for the breakout strategy.Regards!

The difference between the brokers is normal. I have 30 pips forbidden zone in Alpari, so I have rejected trades sometimes.

Yes, the range market is difficult for subsystem 1 and 2. Especially for system 2 (the breakout strategy). For the third strategy the range market is fine.Regards!

Hello Steve,The automatic lots are calculated on a base of 100 pips hypothetical loss. In example if TradeMMSys(1,2,3)=5, that is mean 5% loss from the account free margin, per trade on each 100 pips loss. If the 300 pips is reached (very unlikely) that will be 15% draw down if TradeMMSys1=5.Regards!
